I've not been the biggest Siakim fan but I do like this for the Pacers. They really didnt give up much and got a guy who can thrive in their super fast paced offense. Apparently he wants to re-sign long term too.
This has always been the under-reported part of the whole thing. Reinsdorf didnt want to pay Pippen and Phil. He was claiming that he was losing money while they were winning titles. The break-up doesnt happen if he doesnt sign off on. If he wanted them back they would have been.
Yeah it just gives the NBA another night of programming to sell to their TV people. No one will be watching day 2 unless they have some kind of league mandated rule that trades cant be announced until then LOL
Any reason is a good one to slander Whitlock but...........what Whitlock said didnt really warrant this reaction. I have a real feeling this is just SAS feeling some envy for Shannon Sharpe getting all the run/love he got for his Katt Williams interview and trying to get some publicity for his own pod.
Bingo! The only reason he was playing every game is cause it was a contract yr. Congrats Clips you've taken away any incentive he had to play. Clips gonna Clip
Why? He didnt hold a gun to anyone's head and make them offer him that contract. You're mad at the wrong dude. Blame Gores and/or Troy Weaver. More importantly, they had no real desire to win this yr. They may not have wanted to be historically bad but they sure as hell werent trying to win with that roster.
I didnt know this was against the grain. I think TOR CLEARLY won the trade. I dont totally get how it makes the Knicks better other than gives them cap flexibility in the offseason. Meanwhile TOR gets a young player that can avg 20 and potential 6MOY guy for someone that would probably leave in the summer.
Exactly! So many of these orgs want to stack their teams with a bunch of kids for the "potential" aspect completely ignoring the fact that none of them really know what goes into winning at that level. You have to have some vets to help those kids realize that potential and win some games. Losing like the Pistons is a HUGE psychological drain and can completely kill those kids will to get better.
That's what he did last year against the Nugs. Big game in Philly and then didn't even join the team on the bench in Denver, but he was on the stadium. He was not injured, he's just a bitch.
A MILLION TIMES THIS!!!!
Its really the only way to go if you like the league. Fortunately the last couple yrs its come with the purchase of NBA2K but I would buy it either way.
100% this. From the tip it was clear the Bucks were looking for get back from last week's tourney loss. Game was intense and both teams were really getting after it. Can't ask for more from a game a week before Christmas.
Yeah I thought with the family not cooperating that they were at least partially admitting that she has some fault but hiring Allred tells me the shit is about to blow up.
OKC pulls out a damn good win over GSW in OT. They've already played GSW 4 times and are 3-1. Warriors with 29 TOs. OKC with 78 paint pts. Warriors might really be dead this time.
That was always the worry for me. Sending a fat person to NO with a crazy amount of money and nothing else to do makes it all but a certainty that they are gonna get fatter
