  1. 100% this. Most of these games have been great.
  2. Sure there is but why give a shit? There are what ifs in every title run.
  3. I dont like how the question was asked. And while I dont think Phil's decision to have Kukoc take that last shot was racist, Phil has MANY questionable opinions about black players that he has made known over the yrs.
  4. Maybe so, but Siakim's numbers would tank completely and everyone would be asking what is wrong with him.
  5. Meh, Simmons is whining asshole who I'm sure is trying to figure out how to credit the Celtics with all of those titles. Fuck him. Anyway, maybe its just me but I dont look for ways to diminish teams winning titles. You could do it every single yr. Its wack and a waste of time.
  6. Yeah, its just the opposite. Some will talk about it now. They further we get away the less it will be talked about. I know you wanted Harden and BKN to win but you sounding quite salty hahahahahahhaa
  7. Not one would have matters. That's hating. If they win, they are champs and deserve it. Again, every single title run is effected by injuries positively and negatively.
  8. Wow, bad take here. Luck with injuries are a part of every single playoff run. They would be no less champs than any other.
  9. Yeah, I actually like Lopez and the effort he's given. He's had some very nice defensive possessions out on the floor against Trae. He's not going to win even most of his matchups with Trae 30 ft from the bucket but he's made some plays out there. He's also been a nice lane presence defensively and has rebounded well. They go to him a lot more than say Utah did with Gobert and he's scored well in the lane. I dont think +/- tells the whole story with that but I can definitely see the point of taking him off the floor a little more and maybe saving him for PHX and Ayton (if they get by ATL of course)
  10. I get the blowback for Kidd though that was a long time ago and there have not been any similar issues. The Chauncey stuff is interesting. It was something that may or may not have happened 23 yrs ago. There were no charges filed and he's not had a single incident since then. He's by all accounts been a model citizen and not just by NBA player standards. Should he never get a coaching job? What sort of penance would be satisfactory to make him "eligible" to those that have an issue with him.
  11. There is no precedent for firing a coach in the middle of the playoffs but MIL should consider it. BUD MUST GO!! The games they've won have been in spite of him and the losses can directly be attributed to the decisions (or lack thereof) that he makes. The franchise will regret throwing away their best opportunity to win a title fucking with this this clown. They will never have a better chance than they do this yr.
  12. So before it was put Payne in and run the same shit. Now it's giving the ball to Booker wasn't anything. I'm not saying Monty is Phil or anything but acting like he is just rolling the ball out and hoping for the best is just silly. I give most of the credit to Payne. He put in the work to recognize his flaws and get better. That said Monty had to trust him enough to put him out there last yr. Trust and confidence from your coach can definitely bring out the best in players.
  13. the starter and the backup dont play the same game. Payne has been great but as I mentioned in game 1 Booker was on the ball a whole lot more than he normally is when Paul is healthy. That is an adjustment. Booker didn't just decide to handle the ball more.
  14. Making him the primary ballhandler/play maker instead of Payne after losing Paul is not? Booker had to make the plays but yes putting him in the position to do so is absolutely coaching.
  15. So we are counting "should haves" as losses? It was a close game and he made quite a few good play calls coming out of timeouts with one of them being the one that won the game. Not sure how that is supposed to be a strike against him.
  16. So losing your PG and leader isn't a big deal? He's fortunate that Payne has played well but even starting him throws off their rotations and forces him to play guys that wouldn't normally be playing like E'tuan Moore
  17. McDonough drafted Booker and Ayton (I think) but those two alone didn't do shit before last yr so no to him getting most the credit.
  18. Uhhhh.........he just lost his most important player. That's a pretty large adjustment
  19. Every playoff/title run is sprinkled with some good fortune. This isn't special or different
  20. He may have just been looking for someone to help with all them damn kids. hahahahhahaha. He has 5
  21. Meh, I don't care where they rank. The guys playing have been delivering. BIG TIME! Its great seeing these young guys step up and become proven playoff performers.
  22. I meant more about giving D'antoni a 2nd interview. If he is a top candidate that tells me they have not recognized their most glaring issue. Defense.
