  1. That's what I just said. Not just about last night though there were some bad shots, I'm talking about his overall shot selection. And if he can shoot 56% while mixing bad shots imagine what he shoot if he cut them in half
  2. The fade away with Harden guarding him one on one stands out as a very bad shot. He also got a couple offensive fouls plowing into the lane. One of those 3s was a really bad shot with him just pulling up in crunch time. Just because he shot a good percentage doesn't mean he was taking good shots. More importantly, its about his consistent bad shots not just one night.
  3. He is great. There is one thing he can control. His shot selection.
  4. To be fair, they dont actually show any of the real strategy points of those huddles. Its silly that they keep showing them for that reason. They make coaches look like useless cheerleaders/
  5. To me he is about as average as a supposed superstar can be. He has no real offensive game, no jump shot and can't be trusted with FT's. Seems more hype and benefactor of bad opponents than a game changer. I know it's based on the regular season, so JMO. Meh, I can agree with that in the playoffs. In the reg season he is and has been an absolute beast and doesn't miss games.
  6. If Giannis had a game that he could at anytime say "fuck it, I'm scoring" like KD can then we wouldn't be talking about Bud either but alas.........
  7. Like I said after the last game, I REALLY like Giannis but these last couple games have completely exposed him. There is not one single reason he shouldn't have said, "fuck all this! I got KD" If he gets roasted so be it, dude is one of the best offensive players ever but to not even take a single possession on him is fucking inexcusable!!!!! On the other end, he can do nothing but bull rush to basket. There is no reason for him to ever shoot outside of 8 ft and FTs................................................ This is all on Bud though. When Jrue runs the offense, they move the ball and get good shots for everyone yet the have 20-30 possessions (or more) every game with Giannis up top pounding the ball trying to figure out if he can beat a defense who know EXACTLY what he is going to do.
  8. This is exactly what I was thinking in the 4Q. He went complete supernova. It didnt matter who was guarding him. It didnt matter where he shot it from you just knew it was going in. Only game in recent memory close to this is that MIA LBJ game 5 (or was it 6) in BOS.
  9. Wait wha??? Mitchell was doubled constantly the sec he crossed half court the other night.
  10. I've said Bud was the problem for 3-4 yrs now. They brought in Jrue to run the offense and get things moving and then they go stick him in a corner. Either Bud has never sat down and told Giannis that he needs to get off the ball more and stop shooting 3s or he has and Giannis has completely ignored. I'm positive its the former but either way its way past time for Bud to go. They've gone as far as they can with him.
  11. Especially being KD's bodyguard you would think he would know that and not come flying and escalate things. Its pretty rare for security to come rushing in with two guys just jawing at one another in the first place.
  12. Soooooo........that was KD's personal bodyguard last night https://nba.nbcsports.com/2021/06/11/report-kevin-durants-personal-bodyguard-pushed-p-j-tucker-during-on-court-dispute/
  13. I really like Giannis and watching him play. Him taking 8 threes last night was absolutely sickening. In the first quarter they were moving the ball and getting pretty good shots and shooting a high percentage then they went back to the iso heavy play. Him shooting 8 threes is a complete organizational failure. He shouldn't even shoot one but they insist on having him up top with the ball like he is LBJ. That leads his guy to dare him to shoot giving him 5-10 ft and everyone keeps insisting that he has to add that to his game so he keeps shooting it. God forbid he actually hits one.
  14. Totally agree with that part. Two months of nothing but baseball. That said, I don't like this condensed schedule they've had to run. I dont know for sure but it sure seems like injuries were up this yr and the tightened schedule could be a factor.
  15. Well, they havent said anything but if they even bring him in for an interview that is the correct take. And that they aren't even remotely serious about address the largest issue, defense.
  16. I'd take MIL tonight. Their entire existence is on the line tonight. Back at home after being embarrassed two straight games. If they lose tonight Bud should be gone. Also the rest of the Nets cannot continue to shoot as well as they have.
  17. Nice they are getting back to the normal schedule. I hated that they kept trying to float that Christmas day start.
  18. He already is a good enough scorer to do so. He is improving in the other areas too. He may never have the team to do it but I feel pretty confident he could.
