  1. He's an active big who can blk shots, rebound and catch lobs. He was prolly also geographically close to Vegas and his agent got to him fast. Not anyone's first choice but they are WAAAAYYY past first choices at this point.
  2. Last yr with LA. He played 15 mins/gm in 46 gms this yr with CLE and DEN. Not trying to clown but some of this shit is easy to look up.
  3. Mitchell Robinson has been out most of the yr due to injury. I doubt he nor the Knicks want his first minutes back at the Olympics. Especially with him wanting to get paid soon.
  4. The flip side is guys like Blake Griffin who the Clips did all they could to convince him to re-sign a yr max deal and then traded him less than a yr later.
  5. Seems crazy with the names on that list
  6. That would seem to be logical thing but logic hasn't really gone into their original choices so I'm not expecting here.
  7. This is exactly what is going on. I'm not mad at agents advising guys to do it either. Get as much guaranteed money on the books as you can and then force your way where you wanna go. Strange that no one saw that as the likely outcome of the supermax idea.
  8. You would certainly think so. It will be interesting to see how this one works out. On a somewhat related note, I've always thought that teams that give guys supermax deals should only have the reg max value count against the cap for them. Being able to pay them more than any other team is only a benefit if that extra part doesnt count for their cap. Otherwise it is taking up space that might be used to add additional talent and consequently a hinderance
  9. Making way too much sense here.
  10. To each his own. Thoroughly enjoyed him looking off his rocker.
  11. Jonathan Majors is GREAT in any role he plays. No difference here. Cant wait to see what he does with the character(s).
  12. You missed out. Admittedly, the first couple eps were wild but they tied everything together really well. Its crazy as hell but coherent and an overall great show. You should go back and finish it.
  13. While I do think Giannis is a great defensive presence a few of those were CP3 going brain dead.
  14. Thing is those same folks will say that the NBA is too predictable because there are only 3-4 teams capable of winning a title every yr.
  15. I really need to go on ahead and block that asshole on Twitter. Guess he's trying to figure out who his next guy to irrationally hate after LBJ retires.
  16. That block was pretty fucking ridiculous. The game was tied at the time. That dunk puts PHX up and gives them some momentum. CP3 was terribly last night. MIL's length is really giving him trouble. They are recovering after he beats the first guy and he is panicking when they do in a way that I've not seen him in other situations. Jrue is wearing him down d-ing him up as soon as he gets the ball. I still think MIL switches too much but I did see Jrue fight over and stay with CP3 more often last night. Great game. Hope we get 3 more just like it.
  17. Yeah I dont know about that. They still have issues to sort out. Klay being healthy doesn't magically change that. Especially Klay coming back off 2 major injuries and missing 2 full yrs.
