By far Herman’s best classes. They were decent but hollow with the highest rated player in each year never playing for us. You forgot to mention the prior years where he didn’t sniff top 5 including 2017 with #25. Herman was a great offensive coach. I agree with you about the reason he was fired, but he would have been fired soon had he been a good guy. He simply wasn’t extended latitude after yet another above average season. Sark is a FAR better head coach. His recruiting is exceedingly better. Herman recruited like Mackovic without the talent of Mackovic’s lines. Sark recruits like early Mack, results-wise. It is not all due to NIL. 85% is a bold claim.

Sark isn’t recruiting anyone. NIL is. Sark+NIL. Still competing with pretty much all SEC schools, Top Big 10 schools, Miami, Clemson, and Tech. NIL makes his life easier from a recruiting quality perspective, but recruits don’t play for a loser coach. He is a far better recruiter than anything we’ve had since about ‘06.

Y’all have zero idea if Lacey or Dia will start next year, or we get a portal starter because they both are overhyped, or Arch comes back at which point he’s definitely starting.
