  1. Saw a tweet yesterday that many insurance carriers are not writing new policies on the Cybertruck because of the repair costs related to the design. The windshield, alone, is $5,000 and that doesn't include installation. Don't worry, Elon has you covered since there's a Tesla-owned insurance company that will cover it for you... https://x.com/2weeksProbably/status/1733853310447161560
  2. Tesla removes all US job postings
  3. Utz owns the rights to Bob’s and the recipes. No idea why they don’t do shit with it.
  4. The only bands on that list of dogs I would pay to see are Orville Peck, Khruangbin, and Hermanos Gutiérrez.
  5. Then you’re left with a political thriller about a lush planet that will starve to death if it doesn’t get off planet supplies for 24 hours and a side plot about an annoying kid you wouldn’t mind being trampled to death by a taun taun.
  6. I haven’t been since they left Star Bar.
  7. Solo is better than it should’ve been with all the problems it had with production. It’s pretty fun and had some cool world building in it.
  8. Every that dude appears on screen, all i can think of is this guy...
  9. Damn. I had no idea he was still alive but his impact on the Austin music scene and alternative music in general is under appreciated.
  10. Welp, enjoy it while you can. I'd guess half of those moves never happen since you have to remain solvent and income free during a 1+ year construction project. Most people have moved on by then to retirement or another opportunity. If they do move in, most don't survive because the average Austinite can't figure out where to park for ground level retail. I look forward to Hoover's joining the Austin airport's graveyard of mom and pop restaurants.
  11. I'm here for the revealed middle cootch.
  12. IIRC, this group is the beginning of MI5 (secret service). Rogue Heroes was the beginning of the SAS (special forces).
  13. I'll be Houston that day so I'm sure I'll be avoiding that humidity and heat.
  14. By not keeping pickles in stock, they made more money since they were still covered in the menu prices but not provided to the customer. Maybe Miguel should’ve listened to that employee more often.
  15. Who goes weeks without getting paid and keeps working? If you miss one paycheck, I'm not coming in ever again. Sounds like Miguel is either going to prison or an early grave to escape it.
  16. I wonder how busy they actually were during weekday lunch hours. No one works in Buda so the pool of customers has to be relatively small even compared to south Austin. If you're a tourist in Austin looking for lunchtime BBQ, you ain't driving to Buda for BBQ. If you're a business looking to cater a work lunch, you ain't driving to Buda to pick it up.
  17. I always add 1 Tbsp of vinegar per quart of salsa but it's always gone in a week. I just found this chart online. Tomatoes have a pH between 4 and 4.6. Acidification is required when pressure canning or boiling water bathing tomatoes. Add one of the following for acidification: Pint Jars Quart Jars Bottled Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon 2 tablespoons Citric Acid ¼ teaspoon ½ teaspoon Vinegar (5 percent acidity) 2 tablespoons 4 tablespoons *Add acid directly to the jars before filling with tomatoes. If desired, add up to 1 tablespoon of sugar per quart to offset acidic taste. Vinegar may cause undesirable flavor changes.
  18. I think Seinfeld is the last network sitcom I watched. I think Lost is the last network show I watched.
  19. Valentina's was doing $4.5 million in annual revenue out of its food truck

Rubio and Obrian have been crucial adds. They haven't been ruined by Wolff Ball and just press down field dragging everyone else with them. It's done wonders for the team as a whole. We only pass back to Stuver without reason maybe 3-5 times a game now instead of every possession. It's amazing how more productive your offense is when you don't allow the defense time to find its shape.

A great improvement last night was the new rule that if you’re down more than 15 seconds, you must leave the pitch for 2 minutes. Amazingly no needed the trainers once last night.

The President of Real Madrid is in town for Eeyore’s Birthday today and at the game before getting his freak on.
  23. It was easier to get pussy than porn in the early 90s.
  24. The difference is they didn't up their output that much the day they opened the brick and mortar. They eased into it over months.
