  1. On the rope just behind the pin at 2 again was glorious, Rory eagled out right in front of us. Fabulous day on the course, watched everyone come thru two, blew some more cash on merch and already back at the house watching on TV. We might have been one of the first hundred patrons on the course, incredible seats but getting in position makes for a long day.
  2. Two days in, 5+ miles a day my feet fucking hurt, i’m down about 2000 at the pro shop but less than 100 at concessions. Absolutely fantastic weather. We’ve been getting up at 5:15 AM on the road by six standing in line by 6:30. on Thursday We did the honorary starters then dropped a chair on the rope directly behind the flag onto hole 2, pin was right in front of us, if you watch the broadcast, you saw me. Bhatia hit his second into a chair to my left. They had to move everything and give him some space. Then they moved all the shit back and then Bryson hit the same damn chair in the next threesome, had to move everything again, and then Shane Lowry hit one into the crowd to my right. So at one point, I’ve got Bryson a few feet away to my left and Shane a few feet away to my right. I never had to move, but everybody else did. Then Rory was right in front of me. We watched everyone come through 2 and then walked all around the course. Today we were dawn patrol again and grabbed a spot on the rope on 16 but directly behind 15 so we could watch the approaches (lay up or go) from 15 as well as see 16 very well. By the way, a range finder is a great thing to bring to the masters. We left our chairs and then went and sat in someone else’s chairs on 2 for a couple of hours. After we grabbed some lunch, we went to 10 and chased Rose from 10-13 just squatting peoples chairs then sat in the grandstands at 15 and watched them come in, and then went to our chairs on 16 and watched everybody else from there. I’m gassed. Two more days of this. I’m missing the Tour box at the Players, the Masters ain’t no day the spa. Those hills are no joke.

  14. Ex-Augusta National employee gets 1 year in prison for theft of Arnold Palmer green jacket, Masters memorabilia Richard Globensky admitted to stealing various items from an Augusta National warehouse over the course of 13 years. (Photo by David Cannon/Getty Images) A former employee of Augusta National Golf Club was sentenced to a year in prison after admitting to stealing millions of dollars in Masters tournament memorabilia, including an Arnold Palmer green jacket, according to the Associated Press. Richard Globensky, 39, will also have to pay more than $3 million in restitution and face one year of supervised release after pleading guilty to one count of transporting stolen goods across state lines. Federal prosecutors reportedly requested 16 months in prison, while the defense called for probation Appearing in Chicago's federal court Wednesday, Globensky reportedly apologized before U.S. District Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman ahead of the sentence: Under the scheme as outlined by authorities, Globensky would take photos of items from the warehouse where he had worked since 2007, sneak them out and take them to an offsite storage facility, after which a Florida-based memorabilia broker would sell the items via online auctions. ADVERTISEMENT The stolen items reportedly included green jackets won by Palmer, Ben Hogan and Gene Sarazen, as well as historic memorabilia such as tickets to Masters tournaments in the 1930s, plus T-shirts, mugs and chairs. The thefts reportedly occurred from 2009-22. Palmer's jacket was recovered in 2022 as part of an FBI sting operation. Assistant U.S. attorney Brian Hayes reportedly noted Globensky cooperated in the ongoing investigation, providing text messages with a third party and preemptively selling his house to help pay his restitution. Augusta National released a statement criticizing its former employee: Augusta National is famously protective of its green jackets, even among its law-abiding members. Only two of the jackets won by Masters champions are allowed outside the grounds with the club's permission, belonging to Gary Player and Henry Picard, and the club's parent company has previously sued to prevent the auction of a champion's jacket.

  17. Can't wait for April, I have series badges for me, my wife and a friend.
  18. Seen it. Won’t forget it. Murder with a handgun and horrible accident with ejection. Every time I drive by I think of that lady. In my line of work I’ve seen many homicides or fatal MVAs occur or after the facts on cell phone, security, body cams and crime scene photos. Doesn’t make it any easier to see people expire. On the other hand I have a friend at the highest levels of law enforcement and he is completely unfazed even for something as gruesome as the classroom at Uvalde.
