  6. NOrmally an exchange like that would have never happened because "The Rule" would have been invoked and the kid would not have been in the courtroom, along with a whole lot of other people. With the acquittal and nothing more, probably not. However, if the state could prove - at the time - he believed his wife did it (even if wrong) or he knew his daughter did it, then definitely yes made it look like the bad guy did it I think they cast people to be unlikeable. Negga had to be unlikeable so Rusty didn't seem so unlikeable. I mean, who wouldn't have had an affair if that was your wife? Nico literally drove my wife and I crazy. But it worked, and it was perfect for fucking with Molto. Molto lost because there was no biological evidence, and damn near anyone involved could have killed her. Bill Camp and Peter Saarsgard were top notch.

  12. About 10 years ago I was fishing the surf in front of our place one morning. A man from Monterrey and his son were fishing, typical broomstick double drop setup, catching small trash fish. I was throwing a topwater on a light rod. I caught a few nice reds. We made friends and I see the guy and son later that day with all new rods and topwaters. For a few days we met early and caught some nice fish. One late afternoon I went out at the major and strung three nice trout, kid came with me and caught a few. That night I see a large emergency response on the beach just north of our condo (same place as shark attack on the 4th) The kid went out again in the evening and got bit on the foot by a shark. See the kid the next day all stitched up and he was pissed he couldn’t fish any more due to the puncture wounds in the top and bottom of his foot.

  17. Sec. 22.041. ABANDONING OR ENDANGERING A CHILD, ELDERLY INDIVIDUAL, OR DISABLED INDIVIDUAL. (a) In this section: (1) "Abandon" means to leave in any place without providing reasonable and necessary care a child, elderly individual, or disabled individual under circumstances under which no reasonable, similarly situated person would leave a child or individual of that age and ability. (2) "Child," "elderly individual," and "disabled individual" have the meanings assigned by Section 22.04. (b) A person commits an offense if the person, having custody, care, or control of a child, elderly individual, or disabled individual, intentionally abandons the child or individual in any place under circumstances that expose the child or individual to an unreasonable risk of harm. (c) A person commits an offense if the person intentionally, knowingly, recklessly, or with criminal negligence, by act or omission, engages in conduct that places a child, elderly individual, or disabled individual in imminent danger of death, bodily injury, or physical or mental impairment. can’t use section (b) because can’t prove intentionally or prove abandon and hard to prove care, custody, or control section (c) going to be tough to prove causation
