Dallas will be picking in the 20s-> 30s. I would love to have him on the Cowboys, but I highly doubt that it happens. If he doesn’t go to the Cowboys, I hope that he goes to a team that plays on grass. (surface, not the herb) Quote

Hozz 1098 Posted December 10, 2022 I think he could go top 5. It's not like that never happens or has not happened recently. I would be shocked if he drops into the back half of the first round. Quote

It seems like draftniks are usually more extreme about positional value than teams, or at least there are always a few teams that will still take a RB high, even if the league generally is moving away from that. 1 Quote

I've been thinking somewhere in the 20s. His lack of long speed keeps him from going higher, imo, although it only takes one, and this is considered to be a weak draft 1 Quote

His lack of long speed keeps him from going higher, imo, although it only takes one, and this is considered to be a weak draft I'd say his proven ability to find yards where none are available and sure hands catching out of the backfield negate concerns about his top end speed. Then again I'm not an NFL scout or GM so who knows. Quote

I think Saquon being healthy and being the only legit weapon for the Giants this year will help him too. He reminds me a lot of Saquon without the long speed but better vision inside. I doubt he runs the 40, but it would be really interesting to see his time. He’ll absolutely kill the shuttle and 3 cone if he does them. 2 Quote

Gut Wagon 9015 Posted January 18, 2023 In a world after Al Davis, steadily moving the chains is a fundamental winning strategy. Robinson does that in multiple ways. So regardless of team needs, I have a much easier time seeing him go at 17-22 than at 27-32. And in the top 15 wouldn't shock me at all. Quote

Ragde 254 Posted January 18, 2023 This is the year the Cowboys can cut Zeke without it being too bad. Let Pollard chase his payday elsewhere. Bijan is plug and play. 3 Quote
TheAuditor 1141 Posted January 18, 2023 Najee Harris won the Doak, and had 1800 scrimmage yards his last year at Bama. (same as Bijan). Drafted 22nd by Steelers, looked pretty good his first year, looked pretty ineffective this year although the stats between year 1 and 2 aren't all that different. 3.9 YPC vs 3.8 YPC. Difference between having to respect the QB his first year (yeah somewhat) and more stacked boxes this year - regardless Backs age fast in the NFL. I hope Mustardson goes top 15 and gets a great first contract, cause it's tough for backs to get the second one. Quote

I had honestly not seen any bonafide Bijan hate until this article by hater Daniel Kelly, which was in comments to the PFF tweet above . Said hater lost any shred of credibility when I saw he was a former NFL scout....for the Jets...and his assessment is that Bijan is second-round talent that "lacks any elite traits that allows backs to create yardage" and "is not elusive enough." A few (of the many) other WTF-worthy excerpts: Spoiler "Robinson will need to go to a top team with a good offensive line to find a lot of success in the NFL. If he goes to a team with a losing record, his bust rate increases dramatically." Bijan grades as a lesser talent than Breece Hall or Kenneth Walker III (both of which said hater gave first-round grades). "This Texas back is just not a game-changing franchise back. He bogs down too much around the line of scrimmage, he lacks the juice to own the edge, and there will be only more defensive speed in the NFL." "Robinson is like a sports-car with a four-cylinder engine." "Ideal No. 2 back with an established star in front of him." 1 Quote

I'm going to have to object here, as I have Pacheco on my dynasty team, and Buffalo doesn't use their back well enough. Wherever Payton ends up would be a perfect spot. Bijan is a better Kamara (both on and off field...), and Payton is one of the few coaches who do more than merely talk about using their RBs creatively. How many times have you heard coaches say something about using their RBs like "Kamara", and then not doing it. Most seem to have the talking part down, every single week of "we're going to have to use XXX better" followed by another week of running highly skilled pass-catchers into the backs of their interior OL... please spare Bijan from one of those guys!!!
