What in the wide world of sports could be weirder, in today’s covid world, than our Dallas Cowboys making the playoffs. I can cheer for the Cowboys to win, & philly to beat WFC... it’s as simple as that.

About the school. What it stands for. And is willing to stand for the school song after a fucking gut-wrenching loss in the biggest game of the year. Go, Sam. Move on beyond these gutless, entitled pansy teammates that surround you. Fuck them all.

Twitter is full of conspiracy theories surrounding building 7. When clicking on those accounts (out of curiosity), they have the same Q bullshit as well as a bunch of other shit. #AllBuildingsMatter is also trending. It's fucking 9/11, and it should be a day of remembrance for all Americans, regardless of race, political leaning, etc. If 9/11 didn't happen, would we be where we are with the current chaos in this country today or would it have happened regardless?

So it's basically a joke/meme that EVERYONE gets robocalls for auto extended warranties. We are all trying to stop the robocalls but that shit will never happen. Robo calls and automation were built for each other. So instead of trying to treat the symptom, why not treat the fucking problem, the asshole companies who use robocalls/spam for business. It would be easy as fuck to punish the companies, so why aren't we doing it? Until we make it painful for companies, we'll always have robocalls.

Bernie Bros being toxic. Anti-Bernie Bros being toxic. Media figures being annoying. Giving ourselves emotional disorders online. Let's do it all here, outside of the primary thread where maybe policy and values discussion can happen and not be drowned out by discussions of who is being mean to whom. I'll start! Pod Save Jon Favreau, fresh off of siccing his 1.2M followers on a 7k follower nobody for dunking on Beto, is bemoaning Twitter for... being Twitter. Every day, I get up, get dressed, walk into a Waffle House and loudly say, "Boy, this sure isn't getting a Michelin star anytime soon!" and every time, I feel a little bit smarter

We have two conference loses. OU and WVU each one. I get if WVU wins, OU is 2 loss and we beat them h2h so we're in. But if OU wins, WVU is 2 loss and they beat us h2h. Shouldn't the b12cg be a rematch of OU/WVU in that case? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

If we can’t hire Urban then: QB - promote Fedora to QB coach and play caller RB - fire Drayton/hire Samples WR - move Beck here and give Co-coordinator title TE - promote Beaty OL - keep Hand here DL - keep Giles, but only responsible for DE’s. Go get Bo Davis back to coach DT’s. LB/DC - hire Muschamp DB’s - Fire Naivar and Washington and hire Akina.

The 2018-2019 bowl schedule is up. A few of the bowls have changed names do to sponsorship. The Heart of Dallas Bowl is now the SERVPRO First Response Bowl, but what really sticks out is the Cactus Bowl's new name. It will now be known as the Cheez-It Bowl. What does the winner receive? A free lifetime supply of Cheez-Its? http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/page/cfpbowls2018/2018-19-college-football-playoff-bowl-schedule 42 bowl games plus the National Championship....

Not only does this Aggy keep getting re-elected, no one has come close to unseating him. What the fuck is wrong with Texas’ 1st Congressional District?!? Recent Gohmert news... Gohmert expressed fear that he might become the target of gun violence similar to that experienced by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and refused to hold public town hall meetings.[20]

Through a statement from the Justice Department, U.S. District Judge Christopher R. “Casey” Cooper announced the sentence on Wednesday in Washington. “Even if you did not pour the gasoline or light the match, the evidence showed you were aware of the attack, and once the gates were breached, the likelihood someone would die was extreme high. This was not guilt by association,” Cooper told Khattala, according to The Washington Post. The judge added, “This case stands as an exemplar for the principle that a defendant accused of international terrorism can get a fair trial in the U.S. criminal justice system.” Four Americans were killed in the Sept. 11, 2012, Benghazi attack: Ambassador Christopher Stevens, State Department official Sean Smith and security officers Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, both onetime Navy SEALs. Prosecutors accused the defendant, who was captured in Libya on June 15, 2014, of heading an extremist militia and directing the attacks. But prosecutors also acknowledged they lacked evidence of his having fired any weapons. The government’s case against him relied heavily on the testimony of informants.

I’ve never been. Thinking London, Scotland, and maybe Ireland for a week to 10 days. I want to do touristy UK shit. And see old stuff, castles etc. Will have 16 yo daughter with me. I’m not even sure where to start so I’m open to any recommendations. Hopefully it will be less hot than Dallas when we go. Much appreciation in advance.

Residents of the southern New Mexico village of Ruidoso were ordered to flee their homes Monday without even taking time to grab any belongings due to a fast-moving wildfire. "GO NOW: Do not attempt to gather belongings or protect your home. Evacuate immediately," officials with Ruidoso, home to 7,000 people, said on its website and in social media posts at about 7 p.m. Public Service Company of New Mexico shut off electricity to part of the village due to the fire, which had grown to at least 2 square miles at the time the evacuation was ordered, KOAT-TV reported. The utility said it cut power to some 2,000 homes and businesses but they should have cleared out anyway. CBS Albuquerque affiliate KRQE-TV reported that Ruidoso officials said there was hot ash from the fire falling in parts of the nearby community of Alto. People were being asked to call 911 if they saw any hot ash spots or active flames. State Police in southern New Mexico said they were experiencing phone outages that might impact emergency responses to emergencies.
