I think Massey's odds are pretty reasonable. Odds are 78% that we will beat ONE of Baylor, Tech, Kansas, or Houston. But... the odds are only 28% that we will win out at home. So my guess is that we go 4-4 to close the year with a surprise win on the road and a surprise loss at home.

THE College Football Playoff Rankings Thread [MICH,WASH,TEX,ALA]
blutow replied to texifornia's topic in Football
I still think we have a small shot even if Oregon wins, probably depends on how each of us look in CCG Louisville or Iowa wins - 95%+ Texas is in with a win Bama Wins - ~70% Texas is in (again depends on how those games go down) Oregon Wins - ~20% Texas is in (another eye test) -
This defense seems to suck when they have to start a game. Not a fan of deferring with this team. Oh well, we knew we'd need 30+ to win. Offense has all the money needs to go win it

Why Texas Stomps a Mudhole In LSU's Ass

So, the bet is easy. Straight up, pun intended. They win, you go down on her. We win, she goes down on you. Office politics solved. Also, rules. $9.95 please. -

Nice stand, D. Now let's go win this fucking game. Even in the VY and Colt years, there was some ugly wins when we played like shit. Let's make this one of them. -
On that note, if my math is correct, WV wins Saturday and so does TCU, Texas and Kansas (where we were 1 of their 2 wins) will be the only teams not going to a bowl game. That’s impressive. 🤮

This basically happens every single year after we lose a game. It's really pretty silly. We used to get HAMMERED by OU under Mack and then come back and win out or almost win out....when it looked like we weren't going to win any more games. I learned then that one game is a pretty piss poor predictor of future performance.

We kind of had to bmake National news no matter what. Either we were going to set futility records ans Fire a coach that national media has defended or we were going to climb out of a hole a little and we won’t be the worst team in FCS football for the first time in 6 years. Mom happy as hell we are winning but that doesn’t mean we are a better team (our schedule is Baylor-esque) and it doesn’t mean we are going to improve to a point that it matters. If we beat Baylor next week I’ll start to turn a little bit the fact is that we look like a 2 win team based on everything our coaching has showed us. I said the day we hired Beaty that he needs four wins in his 4th year to keep his job. With a new AD I don’t know that 4 does it anymore but I will support keeping him if he wins four quality games. A quality win isn’t beating Rutgers.

Dude...please. We put up 500+ on their/Aranda's defense. We don't go riverboat gambler in the first quarter and we win. That's on Herman. We are going to fuck some B12 teams up this year. Just wait till LSU (barring injuries) gets ahold of agricultural and maintenance.
-
If they finish 10-6 or 9-7 and bounce out of the playoffs early (or don't make them) the Ginger is out on his ass. I like this schedule, it's got potential to be really tough. If we defeat it then hey we may really have something if we go to shit in the face of this schedule we like to finally get the change we want to be. Win-win
-
Great win, if we had a healthy defense we go all the way. Losing two key players in the secondary will make it easier for a great offense to scheme against us.
-
Ou still has to go to Lawrence and Stillwater. Not so fast. But we can make it all moot if we win in Norman. Almost 2 more weeks for Sonya to rest
-
you have to have that one pitcher if you want to win it all. we don't. We have 4 very good pitchers. Mike needs to go get an ace.
-
End of the day we just need to keep winning. 5 pts up. Hopefully getting some guys back soon to help with the run in. We go again. YNWA
-
Really if everybody does their best and have fun, doesn't that mean everybody wins? The answer is no. We are going to have more points on the scoreboard when this game is over. Yes we are.

One thing is clear. We don't have the defense we did last year. Our offense is better. But our defense isn't going to dominate and win games for us. -

Very obvious that none of those Louisville commits were ever going to stick. That said, hard to see us winning them if we aren’t going to get in the mud for Hale -
Texas Democratic Party - what would make it successful statewide?
bad_teammate replied to TexasEd's topic in Cloak Room
If Beto runs for governor and keeps this energy WRT AR-15s... let's fucking go. Is it politically "smart"? No, but it's going to be a nutcheck for Democrats and if we unite with power behind it then we'll win. -
I'm going to go ahead and say that whatever some dumbfuck on satellite radio said about the game has exactly nothing to do with the reasons we need to win the game.
-
Hey Dusty, we got bases loaded with 1 out, you want to go for the win?? - Nah, I’m good. I’m going to royally fuck this game up now.

Yep. Long way until signing day. Once the Sips go 3-9 and we go 11-1 plus a bowl win, we'll take all their croots. -
our historically weak non conference has inflated our win total, but we seriously lack quality wins, and statistically we don't look very good on paper either. if the committee has a clue (and they do), then our W/L total at the end of the season will essentially not even matter to them, even if we ended up with 19 or 20 wins. we are currently not even in the conversation as far as bubble teams go, and short of winning four more games this year then i don't think we ever even enter that conversation.
-
We are going to win at least 9 this year. I went with 10. We don't go against as many experienced Qb's this year like we did last year and our line play should get better. I think we're going to have a lot of happy fans by the end of the season.
