Question: I need a mixer to run 4 mics, two acoustic guitars and provide outs to two powered mains and three powered monitors (two front stage and 1 for the drummer).

Will this run the monitors? I’m not seeing xlr monitor outs on this or any similar products. How would I hook up the monitors?

Please keep this conversation going here.  I'm about to be in the market for exactly the same set up.    And T-Bone, I still owe you those pictures.  I'll get them tonight at practice.

Speaking of those wounds. I loaned that Telecaster I assembled to a friend in Texas before I left the last time I was there. His band is opening for the Turnpike Troubadors this weekend and he asked if he could borrow it for that show. He thinks its one of the best Telecasters he's played.

Here's me jamming on it with him a few weeks ago.

Who is he?   I saw where Charley Crockett just had open heart surgery, so was wondering who was opening for TT.

This is stuff I’m buying. So I can make sure it matches.

Just looking for a setup that we can use to provide our own equipment for a small space if we need to. Drums and amps would not be miked. And for rehearsals. We already have most of the stuff just need a better mixer and monitors.

What monitors and mains are you buying?  Already have?

Just a small local band.

I didn't hear that about Charlie Crockett. I only recently got into him when I recieved a copy of his album for my Birthday.

Similar to the photo I've picked out if I ever put an album together.

"Melancholy and the Infinite Fatness." I think you can tell which dog is which.262e8635ab544c6fd74eaf1d345103ed.jpg

You could title the album "Guitars and Bitches"

The Gibson Custom Shop Joe Perry Signuature Les Paul.

Interesting. 2 point tremelo and single pickup. Perry says it's the best of a Les Paul and Straticaster combined.

I have that Wilkonson trem on my Jazzocaster.  It's really responsive, and never goes out of tune.  Even when I'm doing my best (horrible) EVH impression.

Which color of Gretsch. The bigger hollow body.
First pic. Bottom row. Red or Orange. Pic 2. Blue.
Pic 3. Bottom row. Light Green. I really like that dark green color in the middle row but not the guitar I want.

I'm having the tune-a-matic replaced with a roller bridge on whatever I decide on.

Pic 4. That white with gold hardware is striking but again, not the model I want. a7842769524a9c56c0e5f0e879ce7e60.jpgbf905c82e6b4b2eccf8b8da8a41e227a.jpgd19db3a5a232a746897053a62bf1afc4.jpga53f0798a1212a4c25948a62619d6bbe.jpg

I love Gretsch orange. I love orange for the obvious reasons we all likely share an affinity. Hell, I played a traffic cone-colored fuck-yo-retinas-in-this-dark-club custom orange sparkle drum kit off and on for 10 years.

But that green is fuckin' smoooooove, my man.

Acceptable. Gold hardware works with white and sherwoody dark metallic-ish green. End of list. I really don't even like it with black, which ought to work with everything.

You might be able to pull off some kind of crown-royal bag dark purple with gold though. I'd need to see it.

The Les Paul in the middle is looking at you with the stink eye.

It's right on the edge for me. I mean, it's not UGLY, just not optimal. I was intrigued by these MIJ blackout strats but the gold hardware didn't work for me.

Definitely looks better on a Les Paul.

Hey tbone how much do you play your frankentele?

Not that much honestly. But not because it isn’t a good guitar. It’s just more that since I’ve had my strat, Les Paul, and tele dialed in so well by my guy here they are very hard to pass up.

It’s a great guitar though. Awesome tone from those old bill Lawrence’s.

thinking of buying this for my 3y/o and putting it away until she’s 10 lol I have a sickness

So we can expect pics... End of week?

"Thinking of buying...." Followed by for-my-kid rationalizing (give or take 7 years). This ain't any of our first rodeos.

Hey, wait, I have a four year old daughter. Dammit. Where's my wallet?
