Yeah at $125 if it’s a high probability for success on the repair (which…. surely yes?) I would think it would be worth it (would need to spend more than that to replace). But the cutoff isn’t all that far from there and it gets lower if an actual luthier is unsure about the outcome.

My husband loves the Seagull Celery helped me with.  Zero issues and an incredible value.  I bet they would repair it for free and replace it if they can't.

Seems every time I get close to pulling the trigger on another “not cheap” guitar I get an unexpected expense or two. Upstairs HVAC and salt cell in the pool both just went out to the tune of about $2500. Sigh.

The universe knows you have the money for such repairs. Beat it to the punch and buy a guitar.

This is good advice. The salt thing and the hvac will still be broken tomorrow. The question is: will you have a new guitar tomorrow?

And you're supposed to sweat while playing guitar.

That sucks, hope you get to pull the trigger soon.  Remember, you can get fixed rate, non-compounding financing with affirm when buying from reverb & Wildwood, and there’s always onlyfans if you need a side hustle!

I gotta think Mayer is just trolling Fender for not stepping up with a bigger endorsement deal.

For sure he is and he isn’t going back because PRS is superior in every way now… ;)

If that Luxxtone had the coil split and the reverse headstock for the same price it would be on the way to my house.

My favorite part was the graphic design work, somewhat reminiscent of the Vagicaster, until I realized it was a reflection of your palatial estate.

Unplugged it plays better then any strat I’ve plugger in that weren’t 2700 and up

I'm just fucking with you. I do have a problem with PRS acting like they reinvented the wheel with those things, though.

Kids are in bed and I like to play loud

Spoken like a true PRS owner!

I don’t really have a dog in the fight (although the headstock is for the birds, ha!)…. But that’s a beautiful guitar that I’m sure will sound and play great.

And regardless, at least SOMEBODY is buying some goddamn guitars around here! Happy NGD!
