Just letting y'all know that the ultimate Ric has popped up on Reverb again for those who play in that rarified air:

I really do dig the specs.  Full scale, binding, has the three pup Lennon look, but has a hum bucker in the bridge position to make it more versatile.

Did they have a special run of ones she slept with naked?

Asking for Brisket.

Saw this photo on the interwebs from probably 1983-‘85.

Not to be too explicit, but doing a guy with Parkinson's might have some advantages.

Especially if you're Mormon.

A week and a half with the Nocaster. It's the tits. Need to put 10's out it, but have been lazy since I have to remove the neck to adjust the truss rod.

NGGD?

I picked up this 60s Kay guitar at Goodwill for $8. I liked the vibe of it and couldn't resist. Even the action of the 4 playable-ish strings and the sound wasn't bad at all. Just needs some minor repair to tuning keys, nut and bridge and it's a cheapass banger player for out in the barn. Might even be worth a few bucks, who the hell knows. I probably didn't lose on it.

How much do you like Martin guitars and Johnny Marr?  Im pretty sure you can find a comparable off brand guitar in terms of feel and sound for 20% of the price, or 35% if you want to stick with Martin but look at other models (used pricing).

Well, it's a 7-string, so that puts it in near-unicorn territory.

Yeah, missed that.  That’s an awful lot for an extra string…

Kirk looks like he drives a Subaru and watches true crime documentaries with his cats and a box of wine.

Yea but he at least got there by being in one of the most successful rock bands of all time and probably plowed some serious poonage along the way. Which is significantly more than the average douche who drives a Subaru and watches true crime documentaries with his cats and a box of wine can say.

Yes it is.  Frankly, I could do with fewer strings than 6.

There’s some talk of a reunion show with my old band, which… would be fun and probably healthy for me. So I’m dusting off some 4 stringers and took “#1” immediately in for some TLC.

I’ll see if I can build my bass chops back up. This guy just looks good on a wall. I need to take the neck off and fuck with the truss rod though.

If auctioned today, greenie would have to beat out Cobain’s unplugged Martin as the most expensive guitar sold, right?

Probably. Love his desire to share greeny with everyone. That's awesome.

What would Gilmore strat or tele go for?
