Nahlin talked to Donald Hawkins after seeing that tweet and apparently Karic is up to 265.

Hawkins also trains the Brockermeyers.

I expect him to be up to 290 before I finish reading the thread.

You are probably right. Nobody has ever seen girls on the UT campus in the 6 percent era that started in 2017 as hot as the girls in that photograph who were pictured together on the UT campus in 2017.

Worrying about a 17 year old’s weight when he clearly has the frame to add weight is exactly why recruiting services suck shit through a straw when evaluating tackles. Jason Peters needs to be a two star OMG he’s only 240 pounds as a high school junior how will he handle pass rushers who are 260-270 pounds?????

Nevermind footwork, base athleticism, aggression and power. Nah. Motherfucking weight, yo. That’s the key when projecting where a 17 year old will be in four years. How much he benches and how much he ways at 16/17 has very little to do with how good he will be in 4 years but it never stops the 9.95’s from tarding out.

Not disagreeing with the $9.95ers know shit argument, but Jason Peters was a terrible example for that claim. He was #14 on the FAB 55 as a DE at 270 lbs. He moved to TE at Arkansas and went undrafted before signing with the Bills and moving to LT. If anything, the Stateman did a better job assessing his athletic value than the Arkansas coaches or NFL scouts.

By the end of the day Karic is going to have a reported weight of 330 and we'll have to process him.

Hey, that was pretty funny. When did you have your humor program installed?

Klatt is just about the best out there when it comes to intelligent, incisive discussion of college football.  He likes and respects the University of Texas and doesn't much care who likes it.

He also laughs at aggy and thinks they’re a ridiculous fan base.

In a year where we're looking at a small class, where we won't use all 25 spots, doesn't it make good sense to shoot the moon on some 5-star talent that might have some qualifying risk?  If they can't qualify, you've "lost" that scholarship, but since we're going to be so far under the 25 scholarship limit, it's basically irrelevant, right?  And if he does make it to campus, you're in the money.

Kids a beast just hope he can qualify

This kid might just be our dynamic athlete take this year. Last year we got 2 of them. Cooper looks to be gone, Achane seems to be gone to aggie, Ty Jordan and this kid seem to be our options. Any others?

this staff has been extremely cautious with qualification risks. Have we even had a single recruit not qualify in the '18 and '19 classes?

They aren't going to take somebody unless they think he's going to qualify.

Now with the signee limit or whatever it’s called, it does hurt you to sign someone who doesn’t qualify.

The staff looks like they're loading up on 2021 and a lost scholarship in 2020 is a backcounter you can't use in 2021.
