Wait it's Herman's fault that Strong fucked up LB recruiting so bad he turned away the best defensive player in the Big 12.

Orlando is not without blame. We should have had Deshaun white and a few others. We are fortunate to even have Mitchell on the roster.

This year he slow played what looks like a perfect LB for our league, lsu commit Josh White.

Correct, but White is a true sophomore. Things would also be different if Floyd didn't have his medical condition.

Orlando signed 3 LBs in both of his recruiting classes. Two of the Top 3 in each year.  Plus Juwan Mitchell.

The depth problems come from 2017.  Things would be different if we had Browning and/or Hines.

2107 Offers - Appears we reached for the top of the top and missed completely leaving good talent to head elsewhere.

Kenneth Murray was begging to come here.

Buddy Johnson would be here right now if he would have been offered.

Those 2 would look nice at LB right now.

Colin Kennedy: Secret visitor for OU vs. Baylor

Hey everyone! I've recently received a couple of tips from sources saying that star four-star defensive line prospect Alfred Collins is planning to be in the house for Oklahoma's matchup with Baylor. This was also heard of by Tim Watkins of BearsIllustrated, who confirmed the rumor is swirling around Waco.

This is a huge opportunity to impress one of the Sooners' top targets at a position of need. Baylor isn't really in the running for Collins, so it's fairly clear that this is the talented lineman's attempt to get an impression of the Sooners close to home. B-Drumm is currently reaching out to Collins to get a quote/his thoughts on the game. If Oklahoma can dominate, it could be a boost in more ways than one. Thanks for reading, and as always, thanks for being members!

Someone who hangs out with a lot of the football players says Whittington and jake Smith are probably going to enter the transfer portal. Opens up more spots. Could be total bs. Hopefully it is.

It's maddening how quickly this team has slid back to Charlie Strong-esque playcalling and on-field gaffes. Roach jumping offsides to deny Ehlinger a possible game-winning drive was just mind-numbing. How do you watch this sort of regression with a straight face as a recruit?

Whittington? I know there’s rumblings about Smith but why would Whittington be upset.

I said several pages back that recruits aren't really affected by a loss, even a really bad loss. What matters most is the direction of a program, and I'm sure recruits are have 2nd thoughts about the direction we are heading right now.

Yeah that would shock me. He absolutely loves the program.

What position group did we have tonight that was better than ISU?

Are we recruiting the wrong players?

we have the wrong coaches for them to succeed

Another thing that worries me about our recruiting is that to start the year there was optimism that we could have cosmi and CJ go in the 1st 2nd round with a chance for sam to raise his stock. Now it's looking like CJ will be a late late draft pick and cosmi will have to stay enrolled. Another year another season with no 1st rounders.

I doubt Cosmi comes back

Cosmi hasn't been good this year. His draft stock can't be worth leaving early.

CJ's slide is more due to injury than anything. He's been good when healthy (we certainly missed him yesterday)

Could Duv be a high pick with his breakout year? He should test well

Maybe not but hes no first or 2nd rounder.

That hasn’t stopped many of Herman’s other juniors thus far.

It doesn't matter where these kids get drafted if it isn't the first round. Ou will have 2 or 3 first rounders this year. Last 2 years we know how they faired in the draft. Hs Kids above all want to get paid. Thats the reason they go to Bama clemson and other programs. Our team hasn't gotten many of our players paid in recent memory
