I don't know what it is, but I do enjoy when he and Glen lose their shit at each other. I don't know what started it between them, but it always looks random and vitriolic to me.

Its pretty simple actually.  He’s playing a terrible character on the internet and I’m easily antagonized.  It’s 100% pure vitriol.

It’s a Kirk vs. Kahn thing.

I think Hester could potentially be down to ditch his buddies for Texas

Omeire wins a lot of reps at camps, so rankers might not drop him too far. He supposedly has tremendous body control, fluidity, and hands to go with good size, but obviously the speed and quickness are a concern with separating against top corners. He might be a Devin Funchess type where it's either possession chain moving routes or jump balls down the sidelines. I don't care if we land him or not

Except Omeire doesn't win a lot of reps at camps. Still more than most though.

Horns247 Confidence Board: Where UT stands with offensive targets

High

QB Hudson Card, Lake Travis — A four-star prospect, Card has been committed to Texas for almost a year. He is completely locked in and isn’t going anywhere.

OL Chad Lindberg, Clear Creek — It might be dangerous to put Lindberg in this category as he is still considering schools like Georgia and Stanford. But it’s clear he loves Texas. The four-star prospect will be back on campus next weekend for the spring game.

OL Jaylen Garth, Port Neches-Groves — Garth made a recent visit to Texas and is happy with his decision. We expect him to stick with the Longhorns.

OL Logan Parr, SA O’Connor — Parr gave Texas a commitment in October of last year and has remained solid. He is helping the Longhorns recruit on the trail.

OL Jake Majors, Prosper — A four-star recruit, Majors committed to Texas in January. Like Parr, he is solid and is working to help lure more talent to Austin.

ATH Ja’Quinden Jackson, Duncanville — Texas appears to be the clear leader in the race for Jackson. But the four-star recruit marches to the beat of his own drum and isn’t afraid to do something different. Still, Texas has hosted him on multiple occasions and is in the best spot to land him at this time.

ATH Jaden Hullaby, Bishop Dunne — Hullaby gave Texas a verbal pledge over the weekend. The Longhorns love him as a jumbo athlete, and Hullaby is a great fit for that role.

Medium-High

RB Zachary Evans, North Shore —Evans has been all over the map with quotes about schools. But the five-star back has visited Texas more than any other program, and his brother loves what Texas has to offer.

RB Ty Jordan, West Mesquite — This one is a tricky one. If Texas goes all out and pushes for Jordan, he will land at Texas. If Texas waits around, Jordan could easily land at Oregon or USC.

WR Johnny Wilson, Calabasas (Calif.) — Could this be Bru McCoy 2.0? It’s certainly possible. Look, I’m not saying UT will land Wilson, but the Longhorns are in his final five without him ever being to Austin. Texas has done a terrific job in this one, and a visit could push the Horns over the edge.

WR Troy Omeire, FB Austin — Texas A&M was thought to be the heavy favorite for Omeire early on, but I’m gaining more and more confidence in Texas. The Longhorns made a huge impression a couple of weeks ago and have built a ton of momentum in this one.

Medium

RB Bijan Robinson, Salpointe Catholic (AZ) — Texas isn’t considered a favorite just yet, but the Longhorns are squarely in the mix. Remember, Robinson is making an unofficial visit to Texas next weekend, and the Longhorns have had plenty of success in Arizona.

WR Quentin Johnston, Temple — This one makes all the sense in the world. Johnston is from Central Texas, and the Longhorns have had a ton of success recruiting out of Temple in recent cycle. But Johnston doesn’t talk much, and it’s hard to get a grasp on this recruitment.

WR Javian Hester, Booker T. Washington (Okla.) — Hester was extremely high on Texas coming out of his junior day visit. However, he is adamant on playing with friends that aren’t so high on UT. It will be interesting to see how this one shakes out.

OL Damieon George, North Shore —George has stated that he is a package deal with Evans, but it doesn’t appear that he is as high on the Longhorns as his teammate. Texas needs to keep working here as George appears to be leaning towards playing in the SEC. And of course, that could affect Evans.

Medium-Low

RB Jase McClellan, Aledo — McClellan gave a super early commitment to Oklahoma but has been to Texas on multiple occasions. If the Sooners land Kendall Milton, the door could open up for McClellan, who has ties to Texas.

RB Jo’Quavious Marks, Atlanta Carver (GA) — This one has been a hard recruitment to follow. Marks remains open, and it appears that this one is winnable. But right now, he’s high on Mississippi State and Florida State. Visits will really impact this one.

ATH EJ Smith, Dallas Jesuit — Texas offered Smith relatively late, so the Longhorns will have to work to truly get in the mix. The good news is Smith does seem pretty open and is carefully weighing all of his options.

Low

RB Kendall Milton, Clovis (Calif.) —Milton made an unofficial visit to Texas this spring, but all signs point to Oklahoma.

RB Sam Adams II, Eastside Catholic (WA) — Adams is making an unofficial visit this month, but he is a Texas A&M legacy.

TE Darnell Washington, Desert Pines (NV) — Washington said he wants to visit Texas soon, but it’s going to be extremely tough for the Longhorns to reel him in.

TE DJ Rogers, Eastside Catholic (WA) — Rogers wants to make a visit to Texas this offseason but until he actually makes his way to Austin, we’ll keep him in this category.

OL Justin Rogers, Oak Park (MI) — Rogers made a visit to Texas last season, but it appears interest has faded.

ATH Mookie Cooper, St. Louis Trinity Catholic (MO) — A former Texas commit, Cooper made a surprising decision to back out of his pledge last month. Everything has to fall back into place for Cooper to land at Texas again.

I like how Quentin Johnston is "Medium" because he doesn't talk to a recruiting reporter, not really sure I get that logic. (Not sure why I am questioning logic of this though)

Evans should be medium low, Mookie should be medium high

If he doesn't talk to anybody, where else would you put him?

I've been meaning to ask, why does EJ go out of his way to hate on TFB? You took a job he wanted would be my guess.

Also, if you could get Roach on with you and Joe it would be the best podcast going. Make it happen, after you get your post Dell round in at ACC of course.

Penalized for it... also kid he's pushing is a freshman who was called up to varsity because of injuries. (although that kid when he is senior will likely be a 4 or 5 star DB recruit)

Oh and... Troy had 1 catch all game

That wasn't the reasoning for the "Medium."  And we need Quintin Johnston to be a longhorn.  Put him and Epps on the field at the same time, throw in some Jake Smith, put Jordan Whittington in the backfield and line up either Wiley or Lebrock at tight end and this offense will not be stoppable by anything short of a MIG-35.

Quentin Johnston is a medium because it's not clear whether or not we'll take him. Odds are very high that he'd pick Texas if we push. Same thing with Kelvontay Dixon, Ty Jordan, etc.
