That was one of the worst games I've ever seen.

It was after that game that we had some recruitniks advocating that we keep Charlie Strong as head coach for recruiting purposes but allow other coaches to manage the game prep and game day duties. You see, Charlie was the Mack Brown antidote and the suggestion was made without a hint of irony.

Looks like a bunch of small movement for rest of the state.

Crawford up from #57 to #50 in-state.  Guys like Collins, Garth, Eaton, and Umanmielen all moved up a couple spots.

Lets be honest - Rivals is too fucking lazy to actually pretend to give a shit about rankings outside of the top 100.

Wide's sister and husband went to ATM.  When I want to get her husband spun up, which is every single time I can, his come back every time to start things off is"  A&M is the only Texas school in the SEC"

It's like a tick with them.  They get triggered and spit this out like a parrot on a stick.

To aggy, secsec is Heaven.  Any place else is....well,  Hell.  They are in Heaven, and don't understand why all recruits don't want to be apart of this.  They sell sec's other teams sending players to the NFL, and that's it...in a nutshell.

Random recruiting question

How many times recently has Texas signed a prospect from the same high school four out of five years?

If we sign Q Johnston, that would 4 years out of 5 with a Temple kid and if Card in 20 and McRee in 21 both stick, that would be 4 years of a Lake Travis kid in 5 years.

Rivals reclassified Bijan to an APB

Quote

Arguably the biggest discussion of the position rankings was where  Bijan Robinson fits among the top two or three running backs. Eventually, the decision was made to make Robinson No. 1 — among all-purpose backs. It’s a testament to the new Texas commitment’s versatility and the fact that he doesn’t have to come off the field regardless of the situation. He’s a huge get for the Longhorns and should thrive in Tom Herman’s offense.

Edit: It gets weirder - Ty Jordan is the #24 ranked RB for rivals, not listed as an APB

Out of the 17 in-state kids I have in Texas' class right now, ESPN has 8 of them ranked the lowest, Rivals has 6, and 247 has 3.

The biggest discrepancy between two sites is ESPN having Jake Majors at 11th in the state, and 247 having him at 71st.

247 seems to be the most steady, although they have a couple of headscratchers like still having Broughton at 25th in the state

Why don't OU coaches like baseball?

No hitter sounds like an impossible behavior standard.

Thank you. Thank you. Don't forget to tip your server. I'll be here all week.

However, aggy (especially their coach and spouse) likes to use the bullpen.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, imagine having a few drinks in your own home and the police come busting in you. Why? Because unlike the fancy homes owned by judges and prosecutors, yours has a steering wheel

Johnston kind of reminds me of Roy Williams.  Maybe not quite as fast, but can really jump and moves like Roy did.

Johnston's clearly an athletic freak. Roy Williams is perhaps too bold a comparison. Roy high jumped 6'10" in high school, had a 40" vertical, and also ran a 10.3 100m. Roy was also about 20 lbs heavier. So he's like Roy Williams, but not as big, fast, strong, or able to jump as high.

wasn’t it reported in this thread that QJ jumped 7’?
