so just to be clear here looch has 7 guys not in this top 44 who are in the Comp Top 44.

  • the top #17*, 27* ,28* , 32 41*, 43, 44 dudes
  • 4 are Texas commits, noted by star above
  • Comp has 3 A&M signees in the top 20 -- Looch has 5, all in the top 15
  • Comp has 4 Texas signees in the top 20 - Looch has 3
  • biggest outlier in the dataset is an A&M signee he has about 40 spots above the comp

TFB just said Rakestraw to Missouri or bama. Stay tuned

JFC. Taking 1 CB the year after an iffy 2 CB class would be terrible. It sure was fun to see Washington miss on all his top targets besides Crawford, then be too late to get Barron to hold off on signing NSD1 and then be super late to the party on offering Rakestraw even though he was a known target for over a month.

If we don’t get Rakestraw, Im not sure which spot we fucked up worse this cycle, CB or WR.

Nothing from that work should make anyone proud. It attempts to legitimize both the LSR and Liucci 44, in some form, and neither source is worthy of anything other than abrupt dismissal.

you misunderstood totally and completely. it is showing where they differ greatly from the comp and players are highlighted to identify the difference based on their obvious bias.

King and Achane are both outside of the top 15 for Composite but are 6 and 8 for Looch. Aki Ogubalksdjfalksdjf is 15 for Looch but outside the top 30 for composite

LSR has some guy as #18 that the composite has as 65 overall. they have Karic as the #15 player in the state (vs 56 for comp)

LSR (which I had never heard of before today) and Looch 44 are both fucking terrible ratings, 1000%

Could still circle back on Whitley, but it doesn't appear Ash likes him as a prospect. If he did, they would have signed him on NSD1, or taken his commitment in lieu of chasing the straw.

We need depth, not starters, so I would bet we land one or two portal players that sit for a year.

This is really under-referenced. Pouncey, I can understand. Losing both he and Jahari Rogers early with a star chasing backup plan as the season tanks is just....bad. Just so bad.

I don't know how he feels about it but I think Dixon should be playing CB. I do love his skills with the ball in his hands and do think he could be formidable in the slot and a multitool player on offense but I think he has more impact potential as a CB and hitting some KR/PR duties. That flexibility was part of why I thought he was a take from the beginning. He could go a long way in helping the mismanaged 2020 CB class.

The thing that gives me hope about this guy is at the 25 second point where he says how much fun he's having at aggy, you can see in his eyes that he doesn't believe a single word he's saying he's for sure a serial killer and can't wait for practice to be over to go drown some more puppies.

Fify.  That guy's stare is fucking haunting.

Eaton would look good in this class right now.

Or the Georgia kid who we supposedly could have gotten, buy decided to back off.

Or Whitley if we'd even shown interest.

Or Pouncy if our offensive playcalling and strategy was allergic to blowout victories where is brother could have played. Or Jahari Rogers is we'd actually recruited like we gave a fuck.

TSRH. Kimber was the one to me that would've checked all the boxes. A CB class of Kimber, Crawford, and Dixon would've been easily had and they all compliment each other very well. Pisses me the fuck off.

I'd be for this.  Only problem is that leaves us with 2 WR's for this class.

You went with serial killer because he's a white male, right? To me he looks like a very aggressive driver with 3 divorces and two unhappy children in his past. And erectile issues.

So what now? Grad transfer market? Hope Ash/Hagen/Giles can generate a pass rush with the DL so that the CBs don't sound like Mike Roach on his podcast after two plays on defense?

Yeah. This also might be a position where a good standard transfer could work well for us.

It's Hagen.

There will probably be sone sugar-coating here or whatever but Hagen was not a good coach at A&M. GigEm247 used to complain about how Price had to carry Hagen on the recruiting trail. And I don't know much about how he was as a DT coach but he didn't coach LBs well there either.

We should be OK this season, but 21' is where things could get dicey depending on if any of Green/Cook/Jamison think they are NFL ready.  We'll have Watson and a RS Fr Crawford.  I have no idea where Caldwell stands.  Could look to add a JUCO next class, or as someone mentioned a normal transfer.

I guess the guy on the team (forgot name) who wasn’t cutting it the secondary, rumored to be moving to WR, is gonna be secondary again?

Always jamming our fingers into dikes to stop the leaks.

How could you forget Kobe Boyce after two years of screaming "OF COURSE BOYCE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE COVERING HIM FUCK" at the TV at least once a game?

All but ONE aggy commit is ranked higher by looch than the composite.  And nobody over there will call him out yet again.  Wash, rinse, take their money, repeat.
