Mizzou is a shit hole for a lot of reasons, but they're not group of 5

They must be. No way moving from the Big 12 to anything other than G5 could result in them being a financial shit hole, could it?

It doesn't have to be that he's "butthurt" about a late offer, just more loyal to the early one.Ā

Their staff was hired in December. Ā I know he was offered by Missouri before us but hey, his choice and best of luck..

Strange that we never threw out hat in the ring for Whitley.Ā  He obviously was willing to flip last minute.

Between turning down him and Dunson, there better be a transfer/JUCO backup plan.

In previous classes they've been pretty good about that, so hopefully that continues even through the staff turnover.

Yah, like I've already said, It doesn't have to make sense, Loyalty isn't always based in logic. Also doesn't mean he didn't make relationships with players etc... early on who he feels loyal too.Ā

Surprised about Rakestraw. Figured his order was Bama, Texas, Mizzou. I thought when our $9.95ers started reporting yesterday that we were out, it meant Bama found room for him.

I don't have insight into the numbers, but good lord Baylor is taking lots of DBs. 6 of their 17 signees are DBs.Ā

Or theyā€™re just Bayloring and taking some random speed that they can throw at WR to torch us.

Whatā€™sĀ so sadĀ is he is makingĀ a lifetime decision. Ā The odds of him making it to the NFL are less than 5%. Ā If Alabama was his dream school and he didnā€™t go there, that saysĀ that they are getting Jackson and aggy loses out again based on numbers . Ā If heā€™s butthurt about not getting an offer ā€œearlyā€ thatā€™s just stupid. Ā It didnā€™t matter with Welch. Ā BestĀ of luck to him and that entire network of Missouri grads that will have his back after he leaves the school. Ā

He could have gone to Bama. He spurned them as well. Itā€™s also not a lifetime decision. He can portal out in a year and wind up wherever and start over. Youā€™ll probably see Tunmise Adeleye do the same thing once the first auction money has been promptly spent on clothes, bling and lean.Ā

Imagine being a person who actually gets their recruiting info from Wescott.

Savion Williams and a grad transferĀ WR have nothing to do with each other. Williams was never going to be ready to play this season.Ā

Williams was also never coming here, that was mostly fan fiction. WeĀ werenā€™t even a hat on the table at his ceremony today.

How dare you. He'll certainly donate that moneyĀ to charitable causes.

Reports from Mizzou and Bama sitesĀ make it sound like Rakewstraw's decision had to do with not wanting to RS at Bama or Texas.Ā

Ā

Loyalty wouldā€™ve beenĀ a better reason than that. Heā€™s pretty skinny, he needs a RS.

Ā

Must be a Gladwell fan and convinced by Gladwell's arguments about elite schools that being a big fish in a little pond is the better option.

Ā We had DBs drop like flies at 190lbs and heavier & this kid buys a load of s*#% that heā€™ll see the field in 9 months at a 165lbs soaking wet right now?? In the ā€œbig boy SECā€ conference no less. Smh ok lolĀ
