Croatia Travel

This summer I think we’re gonna hit the Slovenian-Istrian part just to mix it up a little. That would be Piran, Koper, and could just swing over into Trieste Italy.

For us going to Croatia has always been about lazy vibes, dipping in the water during the day, walking to dinner at night, then drinking in the patio/balcony. The bulk of the Croatian Adriatic coast share that vibe so in that sense most of the places are indistinguishable as far as which city is a must-see vs another.

Biking from Split to Dubrovnik at the end of June for a week.   We are cheating and using e-bikes.  Looking forward to it!

I did this via boat while island hopping and it was incredible.  are you doing that or is there an interesting mainland itin?  regardless I'm sure you'll be amazed!  e-bike is the way to go.  I started every day on the lowest click to offset the extra weight from the battery and by the end of the day I was on full auto gliding into glory in my mind

Doing three days in Dubrovnik before taking a ferry to Hvar, staying for another three days in mid July this year. Incredibly excited as this will be my first time in Croatia. I’m mainly excited for Hvar, thinking about renting a scooter and just exploring around for a few days. Will probably hit a Blue Cove tour along with a tour of the Pakleni islands, followed by numerous hours chilling at multiple beach clubs.  Any recs for nice dinners and/or fun bars to hit while in Hvar? What about a wine tour?

When I lived in Hvar my favorite thing to do upon meeting a cutie female tourist was renting a scooter, throwing her on the back, and heading up into the lavender fields and other small town on the island. It was a guaranteed way to get laid. I hope you did it.

We did this with quad bikes. Fantastic way to see the island and to find hidden beaches off the beaten path. We rode from Hvar to Stari Grad, stopping at various towns along the way.

We ended up in Crikvenica this summer. It was insanely hot. Pros are calm waters, no waves, perfect for the kids. Cons are all rocky beaches, no sands. Might hit up the Black Sea next summer just to change it up a bit.

Southern Albania has sandy beaches and you can take the ferry over to Corfu which is great.
