Offensive foul on Harden. Give me a fucking break.

Yeah this is the NBA man. We all know what the outcome is, big game, Lakers at home, Scott Foster officiating.

Doesn't matter you shoot 44% from 3 and have a great night, the storyline is written.

Yep, that was such a ridiculous call, as was the non call when he was tripped on the pass and then Davis kicked him in the nuts.

Guaranteed if Russ comes in and does his thing he will get called for a bullshit charge too.

Have to give him credit, he's played much better since bricking those 2 layups to start the 3rd.

I still can't stand him. I don't know what it is, but sometimes the shot selection is insane and he's missing the fucking rim, like wtf. Then he will splash one from way deep. Odd how hot or cold he is.

It’d be nice if Harden would start waking up. Brodie needs to keep attacking the paint. He’s been great tonight.

Harden has been napping the entire year.  Imagine if he played with half the effort Russ does.

Howard with 4 minutes. He's unplayable against the small ball Rockets. The Lakers C's played 20 minutes tonight. This may not work out in the long run, but there aren't many teams in the NBA that can really punish the Rockets inside, and not also get destroyed on offense playing 25' from the basket. It also helps that Davis is paper soft.

A center would be nice, but I'd actually take another wing in the mold of Convington instead. Maybe Bruno is that guy once he gets back from his injury.

The Lakers are the toughest matchup for us because of their quality and length. I don’t think we can win a 7 game series against them but who cares tonight. That was a fun win.

Lulz. Charles's strategy is to double Harden and Westbrook, leaving 3 on 1.

because there is no way tucker can get 11, house can get 13 and gordon can get 15 consistently.  jesus fuck he is entertaining but is a complete fucking clown when it comes to analysis.

Would love to pick up Harkless, Evan Turner, or Marvin Williams if they get bought out.

Agreed. Turner and Williams fit well at the 5 in this offense. Also nice to see PJ only have to play 31 minutes last night.

MDA played NINE guys last night!!! All more than 10 mins.  Hopefully this is not an anomaly.

“We feel comfortable with the roster as it is,” Morey said. “We have at least 10 Mike is comfortable putting on the floor to win big-time playoff games.”

No more Clint Capela to clog the lane

Add Covington's wing defense and threes to drain

When opponent's bigs hit the offensive glass

We fast break downcourt and we torch their ass

We'll switch and we'll trap and we'll double the post

We'll swarm and we'll run and we won't ever coast

The center we have goes by the name of Toyota

Do we care that we're small?  Not one iota.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall

Your trees just got chainsawed by Rocketball.

Sixers appear to be waiving Jonah Bolden. Last year he shoot .354 BTA as a stretch 4. Had a 110 ORtg and 107 DRtg, and was at 2.0 DBPM. His offense might take off with the space Harden and Westbrook will create. Hasn't played much this year as the 76ers signed Horford. Only 24.

Kyle O'Quinn was hoping to be waived as well.

Bobby Portis may be bought out by the Knicks.

Just need to add a Moute replacement.

(Sixers fan drive-by here) Bolden had a lot of potential but was really prone to mental lapses. No idea why O'Quinn didn't play more as he seemed like the perfect Embiid back-up. Sounds like they won't waive him until March so he won't be eligible for another team's playoff roster (?). Covington is a badass...by the way, WTF is this about a redeye from Houston to LA?

@KellyIkoNBA “Robert Covington took a 6 AM flight to Houston, caught a red-eye flight to LA, had a crash course film session with the coaching staff, and later was the difference maker in the clutch against the Lakers—on both ends of the floor.”

Probably had to go through a battery of tests before the deal could be finalized.

But the "redeye"? Those tend to only be from the Pacific time zone towards the east. I really doubt there are any IAH-LAX flights that depart after like 10 pm. Minor point but I think that writer is confused

Gordon is the absolute worst at rebounding, he gives no shits about anything basketball related besides bombing 3's.

D'Antoni and Morey completely mismanaged Gordon. Gordon should never be in the starting lineup - he's most effective coming off of the bench. Gordon should have never been extended and his contract is an albatross. I have seen several (on other forums, blogs, etc.) speculate that Gordon will be traded in the offseason, but who will really take on that  contract for an offensively limited player at his age who is also injury prone?

Philly needs shooters more than anything as does Minnesota.

In other news,

Charlotte is going full on tanking buying out Williams and Gilchrist.

Williams has apparently already be snatched up by Milwaukee.

Rockets should be all over Gilchrist.
