I'm assuming the FF and X get brought into the MCU via the Secret Wars movie.

I'm assuming that the FF make one last trip into space for whoever reason and get shot through a portal into the main MCU. I'd like be wrong and they have a really clever way of bringing them in, but, you know, Marvel loved their portals with Spidey.

Thunderbolts - "We're not super"

Cut to scene of Bucky deflecting a rolling 15,000 lb truck with his arm

Yep, just normal standard human stuff.

I assume it’s that outside of the serum or being trained assassins, there isn’t anything “super” about them. No gods, no Hulks, no iron man suits, no chaos magic

Just some Captain America and Nat clones

I'm pretty sure a 180 lb man redirecting a rolling 15,000 lb truck with his metal arm without being crushed would involve some kind of super-strength or alien technology.

Well yeah, that's the serum - I said that part.  Again, they either have super strength via the Serum or are assassins.

None of the Thunderbolts are a literal God, or using chaos magic, or have special suits (BP, Ant-Man, Iron Man) or are a robot or someone who got blasted with the Space Stone.  They pretty much poke fun that their super powers are just being super strong or good with a gun/martial arts.

uh yeah, that's my point...the tagline for the movie is "We're not super" when they are, in fact, super

Just saw CA: BNW. Talk about a movie where nothing happens. First, is Jew Girl a little person? She’s about 4’6” and it’s distracting AF when she’s on screen. She looks like a 9 YO playing dress up. This movie is so chopped to shreds that there’s one scene where she is wearing her superhero outfit but it’s never referenced and she doesn’t do anything. I like Tim Blake Nelson but he is miscast as the lamest Marvel villain so far. It doesn’t help that his character design looks like a plastic supermarket Halloween costume from the early 80s. When he was revealed, the entire theater laughed. It didn’t help that he already looks a bit regarded and his bad makeup and contacts make it worse. Overall, the movie isn’t terrible and it’s not good. I wish something happened to tip the scales one way or the other but it never did.

I'm confused about the F4 preview. I thought John Krazinski was going to be Reed Richards.

He was...in another MCU movie, so he is Reed...in another universe.

The return of Jon Bernthal as the Punisher has been one of several selling points for Daredevil: Born Again. That excitement only grew when we learned the antihero was getting a spotlight all to himself, and now Bernthal’s teasing out what fans can expect from Frank Castle’s little one-off.

While doing interviews for The Accountant 2 at SXSW, the actor said he was “really grateful that I’m getting the opportunity to tell the story that I think the fans deserve. We’re giving it our all, and we’re trying to tell a Frank Castle story that we’re going to turn out back on the audience. It”s not going to be light, and I think it’s the version that this character deserves.” Tone-wise, he promised this special wouldn’t be “Punisher-lite. It’s going to be dark; Frank has no interest in breaking out of the darkness. It’s not going to be easy.”

All of this. No decent backstory for TBN.
Ford as Ross was a big miscast IMO.
