First Year bump for Deion...

Lmao. That's one way of putting it. Hell of a first year bump to flip guys from UGA to a middle of nowhere program.

Shilo Sanders transfers from South Carolina to Jackson State to play for his father, Deion Sanders

Let's hope he's not as shitty as his other kid.

Thought Wells is returning for 2021 ??

Yeah, Wells returning for 2021, but without Morton I don't expect enough offensive improvement (or future potential) for him to return in 2022

Morton committed to Tech.

I expect he'll do well there and bring much needed ability/stability to their future QB room. Next OC will at least have somebody to bank on in next few years.

Hopefully he's as good as advertised.  Although I think Kliff Kingsbury's reputation as a QB talent scout and coach is deserved, the QB position has been a major problem for Tech ever since Mahomes left for the NFL.

tOSU signed a 5* QB this cycle, maybe that will play into us getting lucky in 2022. I don't think ewers would be scared of competition but the ability to start year 2 is much easier here than at ohio state.

Don't get your hopes up. McCord has been committed to tOSU since April of last year. Ewers committed there knowing McCord was in the pipeline.

Well that’s just lovely.

I think Rod Babers was right: they should go down to the FCS. They just can't compete right now.

Historic program, cool old stadium, but yup. With programs like UTSA and UNT around, what decent low-3/high-2 star recruit is going all the fuck way out to El Paso?

I am surprised they haven't mined southern New Mexico for recruits. They've probably not combed through the JC/FCS ranks either.

Dan Mullen? Cheating at recruiting? no waiiiii

I don't think he was ever an option to be the next Texas HFC, but if he was, that completely eliminates him.

Interdasting that they busted LSU, Tennessee and Florida in a year they reduced staff and have been on hiatus much of the year.  Did an SEC check bounce?

Quay Davis getting KU picks.

Crazy that a guy like Quay is going to end up at KU. I hope he crushes it and gets to the NFL. Sounds like there is a lot for him to overcome - he may be his own worst enemy, who knows.

So he decommitted from Texas and then USC to go to Kansas? Sounds like great decision making.

Switch around your first and second sentences and it will all make a lot of sense.

His bad decisions left KU as his only choice, he didn't decide to go to KU.

So what did he get arrested for? I know he is evidently a knucklehead but haven’t heard of anything that would make KU his last option.

The No. 105-ranked player and No. 17-ranked receiver in 2021, Davis was recruited to the Jayhawks by wide receivers coach Emmett Jones. He has a grade of 0.9515 in the 247Sports Composite, shattering the previous Kansas best of 0.9055 — the Composite grade given to four-star running back Pooka Williams.

For reference, Williams was ranked No. 272 in the 247Sports Composite, 167 spots lower than Davis.

Four-star running back Devin Neal — previously the highest-ranked KU signee by the Top247 — had a grade of .8850 in the 247Sports Composite and 91 by the Top247. He was ranked No. 213 by the latter.

Kind of amazing that previous to Davis, the highest ranked recruit ever to make it to KU (at least in the 247 sports era) was 213. Even more amazing that those scrubs beat us in 2016 and it took a last second FG last year to avoid another loss.
