At least one mention in all of this that these chics had sought to settle for money. Dumbass threw away $50M instead of paying them $5M each to go away even if their allegations aren't true. <Narrator: They are true.>

Rumor is the proposed settlement cost was only 2 mil for the 1st woman. Second woman prob takes a mil or less, if she even came out with the info.

Not paying the first woman undoubtedly cased her to talk.

ESPN Boston reports Antonio Brown is unlikely to get any of his $9 million signing bonus from the Patriots.

The Patriots plan to use the "representation warranty clause" to void Brown's signing bonus. Brown didn't disclose he was dealing with an off-field situation before signing with New England, which they view as a breach of contract.

Yep, $2M and none of this ever sees the light of day. The trainer timed it perfectly, coming forward right after AB imploded himself off the Raiders, and public perception of him was universally negative. I'm sure she expected that he'd pay rather than continue to have his name dragged through the mud. He sure showed her!

I'd bet that AB thinks he's being wronged--at least over the rape allegation--and wants to turn the tables on her. But he can't shut up, has zero self awareness about how he comes off every time he tries to string 3 words together, and doesn't realize that text messages can be shared. My guess is that he'd still be a Patriot right now if not for those most recent group messages.

Sending texts to one of the accusers was definitely the last straw. Hes doing a good job coming off as a mentally unstable person right now.

Are being  dumb and monumentally immature qualifiers for mental instability, at least with regard to diagnosed mental disorders?

Yeah...but he’s also not wrong.

He sort of is though. If he had handled the accusations the same as those he mentioned, he would still have a job. Hell, he played last week while those allegations were well known. He got canned for not knowing when to keep his mouth shut.

I thought he had sent texts this week to along with asking his friends (and lawyer)to harass.  Or did that happen before because if it already happened WTF were the Patriots thinking if they knew and still signed him.

Yeah. The harassing texts were new this week AFAIK. That'd what I meant by saying he'd still have a job if he knew how to shut up

Guess not: https://fox2now.com/2019/09/23/antonio-brown-gone-from-the-nfl-enrolls-in-online-college-classes/

Brown posted a photo on his Instagram Story of a piece of paper with several classes for the fall semester at CMU, along with the text “Back to school.” The image shows that the talented but mercurial player is enrolled in Introduction to Management and an English class on Technical Writing. Starting in October, he will be taking a religion class called “Death and Dying” and a sociology class on racism and inequality, the photo shows.

He's in for a rude awakening when he figures out that the athlete-tailored classes that he was assigned when he was on the team (that he still obviously didn't attend) count for approximately jack shit towards a real degree.

Wild guess, but thinking his participation in classes lasts about as long as his career with the Pats did.

Maybe AB was right about his favorite old-school helmet after that commie Goodell made such a big deal about it forcing players to wear the new shit.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) -- The NFL says the number of concussions in exhibition games this year rose to 49 from 34 in 2018, an increase of 44% and a setback in efforts to reduce brain trauma.

''We have more work to do,'' said Dr. Allen Sills, the league's chief medical officer, at the owners' meetings Tuesday.

Concussions in preseason practices fell to 30 from 45 in 2018, perhaps a reflection of the NFL's decision this year to eliminate drills that involve especially violent one-on-one contact. The total of 79 preseason concussions in practice and games was the same a year ago.

ACL injuries during the preseason declined to 16 from 28 in 2018. But the concussion rate in exhibition games was the highest since 2015.

''Progress in helmet safety is not always linear,'' Sills said.

is there anyone in this man's life who cares about him and can get him some help? such a rapid and pronounced fall from grace. i mean he was always selfish, and a diva, and hard to get along with, but none of that is particularly unusual for an elite WR. but this last year+? the frostbite, getting cut by two teams, the incessant social media antics like he's crying for help...dude needs a long vacation at some sort of wellness center. he is clearly troubled.

Forgive my social media illiteracy, but did that go out live, or did he record it, sit down and watch it, then think, "Yep, this is a good look," and press send?

I assume by the big box that says "LIVE" it's the former, but the latter is much funnier/sadder.
