Ah okay. Yeah I get the poor optics of having all male coaches across all sports

Capitani is still employed at Texas

But yeah, Kelly and Capitani are holding it down.

But you can't deny that the men on staff in Vic (3 Elite 8s), Elliot (3 titles), O'Neill (2 titles), White (2 runner up finishes) and Joffe (2 titles) have the skins on the wall at Texas already and Metzinger has the skins on the wall for his career (1 title).  Not CDC's fault that Kelly sucks so much.

And Floreal too, but he's men and women.

#4 in the SEC standings now which would get us a 1st round bye in the SEC tournament to the quarterfinals.

One match left at Georgia. RPI #30

We are #31. We are def in, but we aren’t hosting a game, most likely.

8th ranked SEC team in RPI but 4th in conference. We had a weak non-conf schedule

Auburn plays SoCar, who is behind Texas and Auburn by a point. We have to win Sunday to finish top 3, guaranteed

A win + Auburn draw = Texas 19 points, Auburn 17 points

A win + Auburn loss = Texas 19, South Carolina 18, Auburn 16

Draw + Auburn/SoCar draw = Texas 17, Auburn 17, SoCar 16 (not sure the tie break, our highest standing common opponent is Georgia, so both draws, then Alabama, both draws, so aggy, which we won and they lost)

We're probably top 25 in RPI now too.

Kelly deserves no excuses based on her history but really unfortunate season. We are top 4 in the SEC and a top 25 team without an All-American caliber striker and probably an All-SEC caliber defender.

This was almost certainly going to be a top 10 team if not for injuries and we know that's never going to happen again with Kelly.

MSST won the regular season going 9-0-0

SoCar did beat Auburn, so we finished all alone in third place.

Will wait for the bracket to shake out but we get a bye and play the 6v11 winner. 2pm Tuesday Nov 5 on SECN. Don’t think there’s anything else important that day

That quarterfinal match is kind of important. Will certainly lock up a home match to open the NCAA tournament. We might already be hosting anyways.

You’re wrong. Tuesday November 5th is the same day as the first 2024 college football playoff committee rankings. All of America will be tuning in to see “who is In?”

With the regular season now in the rearview mirror, The University of Texas women's soccer program turns its attention towards another successful postseason run when the third-seeded Longhorns square off with the 11th-seeded LSU Tigers at 2 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at the Brosnaham Soccer Complex in Pensacola, Fla.

Villareal is so damn special.

admittedly, i don't watch as much UT women's soccer as i should, since i do put the TV on ESPN+ a bunch for college soccer.  but good lord 44 jumps off the screen. uber talented.  Villareal definitely has a professional career ahead of her.
