Somebody has a serious hard-on for Harbaugh (obviously the NCAA, but someone outside).  The dude must have pissed off everyone in the coaching world and killed some powerful leader’s puppy. The normal line of thinking is, sensitive information doesn’t just get out unless someone wants it out. For sure the “fan” is a complete moron the way he went about things, but the speed AND the depth of the information leakage makes me think this goes beyond just cheating.

Harbaugh is seriously boned as far as collegiate coaching goes, Michigan will sacrifice him in an effort to save the “Harvard of the West” rep. Will an NFL team scoop him up? Hell, Belichick is still coaching, so…

I bet they still had Rich Rod.

Anyone know what the deal is with this one? have heard:

1) hacking into opponents cloud to steal practice film

2) hacking into athletes' emails to see if they were talking to other schools about transferring

It’s the B1G.  Kiddie porn is always the most likely offense.

Believe it is some light stalking of coeds, and accessing their grades and personal information Nothing to do with football.

Seriously though. Michigan needs someone to vet all these analyst hires. Harbaugh is just like ,”are you a psycho, stalker or racist? Come on down”

Wow.

“The guy (Stalions) was wrong a couple of times,” one TCU staff member said. “We rewatched the TV version of the game. You can see him standing next to the defensive coordinator. He tells something to the coordinator and he points in the air to mean pass. You can see the playsheet he’s holding with our hand signs on them.”

The Michigan football staffer at the center of the school’s sign-stealing scandal purchased tickets to at least five games in Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium across the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

Connor Stalions bought tickets to the Huskers’ games against Michigan and Ohio State in 2021 and the Oklahoma, Minnesota and Illinois games in 2022. The information was contained in a University of Nebraska-Lincoln email obtained Thursday by The World-Herald in a public records request.

An athletic department staffer originally sent the email Oct. 20 to Jamie Vaughn, NU’s director of NCAA compliance. That would suggest the information could have been run down by the school in cooperation with the NCAA’s investigation into widespread sign stealing by Michigan’s football program.

ESPN previously reported 12 of 13 possible Big Ten schools have a record of Stalions buying a ticket to at least one of their games in recent years. The email proves that one of those Big Ten schools was Nebraska.

Also, LOL at all the Big 10 coaches calling TCU to give them the heads up on this. I was told in this very thread that the Big 10 and the other programs in the conference would carry water for Michigan so the conference would get that sweet bowl money and CFP/NCG appearance. Give me a fucking break. Just like I said, every AD in that conference would vote in a second to nuke Michigan and take down one of the top programs in the coference so they can feast on the leftovers.

College football badly needs NFL style headsets.

As mentioned in Paul Wadlington’s podcast, we need to know which coaches are voting against them.

Makes that game even cooler in my book. I just thought watching a great game where TCU is playing over their skis. We didn’t know at the time that TCU was fucking with the sign stealers. That adds an extra level of awesome to that game.

This makes way more sense now. This is basically a carbon copy of the 'Tom Herman finds OU playsheet that Leach planted' story. Fucking LOL

So TCU was dominating the game through the first half by fucking with Michigan’s sign stealing system. Sounds like Michigan only rallied when they ditched it and had to play more straight up.

There’s some kind of deep moral lesson in there.

This take is retarded. So the sign stealing affected Michigan's offense? I think this is reading into the affect a bit too much.

Joel Klatt was on The Ticket this week and said basically the same thing. Said the Michigan thing isn’t that big a deal since so many are doing this to some extent. They could put radios in the helmets ten years ago but none of the coaches who are doing this want to eliminate the need for signals, since they rely on stealing them.

Just watched the highlights from last year’s OSU game.  No crashing the line on run plays. Just UM players making plays and dominating OSU on the line of scrimmage.  I’m not saying there wasn’t cheating going on but I didn’t even see one play where UM’s defense jumped routes like OU did to Texas this year.  Someone/NCAA needs to probably take a close look a Brent V.  I don’t even blame him because any opposing coach should account for that shit.  But that dude is a known cheater.  Just sayin.

This right here is why this whole thing has to be taken care of...

That’s an entire scheme, which took TCU a month of bowl prep to replace. You can’t ask kids to learn 50 new signs in a week.

Tell me again why we don't just have radios in the helmets?  Or playcall wristbands that could easily be changed out at any time?

The old complaint with radio was cost. Now it is because there are many schools that steal signs well and so they vote against it using cost at the lower levels of the FBS and FCS
