Jalen Green

Without the benefit of a closer look on video, this is my initial vote. Hard to pay attention to everything at the game.

Kick coverage was awesome too. Owens literally made LaTech quit trying to return the ball.

Jalen Green for me.  Looks like a legit shut down corner in time. He's damn good right now. He's got a great frame and athleticism.

I will say Eagles looks athletic as fuck.  His testing numbers really translated to the field tonight.  (I thought he looked a little stiff last year.)  Physically, he reminds me of Dez Bryant.

So many impressive performances from young guys: Eagles, Ingram, Green, etc.  Some flashes from Smith.  Sweat looks good.

I gotta go with Ossai.  Dude is gonna be a problem for offenses.

There are some players who, from the first time they step on the field as true freshmen, already stand out, guys like Shaun Rogers, Derrick Johnson, Cedric Benson, Vince Young, and Caden Sterns. I'm not sure Sweat flashed to that level, but he sure looked like he belonged. From his first play, you're already turning your head saying, "Who's that?"

It was also interesting to see Jake Smith targeted 8 times. Some of those throws were a bit off and the routes he was asked to run didn't always play to his strengths, but the number of looks he got tells you Sam already has a lot of confidence in him.

Chris Brown is what we hoped PJ Locke would be

I'm growing into a real Chris Brown fan.  Guy is a really good player.  Even last year, when he came, there was almost no drop off.

I both agree, and noticed that when Sterns was in the game he made absurdly athletic, hard hitting plays.

Our safety lineup is just NSFW.

Overshown with the delayed blitz looking sack and uber athletic diving interception really stood out in the second half.  Yuge upside still available for that diaper dandy.

Iggles.  We might have a certified badass-in-real-life at receiver, instead of a guy who looks good in 1 game and then disappears (not entirely their fault of course).

Aside from all those mentioned, I was impressed with Roschon Johnson and his "just happy to be here, hope I can help the ballclub" attitude.  He looked like a guy that could play running back if needed.
