50% chance a tropical depression could hit next saturday as well

1.) Forecasting tropical systems five days out is a crapshoot. No one can say there is a 50 percent chance of any particular outcome.

2.) Have you been outside recently? It hasn't rained in like a month and it's 100 degrees in September. If it rains, so be it.

Since Roshon is a RB this week I wouldn't mind seeing a toss play with the option to pass it if it's there.

Shhhhh!

The high would have to move out before any tropical storms can head our way.  It will steer them away otherwise.

This is true, and all the more reason to say there is a 50 percent chance of a tropical depression coming in five days from now is a gross overstatement.

Cameron Rising’s unfortunate transfer ruined Beck’s planned 4 QB wishbone offense. With Sam, Casey, Cameron and Roshon all in the backfield together, the 8 way RPO would have been a matchup nightmare for LSU.

Ro Jo works for me.

He was looking fine in pass pro too. Give Ingram most of the snaps, but work in Ro Jo early and often. Ingram should have 30 touches, Ro Jo maybe 10. Get em in space for sure. Dude can move.

Wheres our Henry Melton when ya need em?

Where’s Eno Benjamin when you need him?

Bohls attempted, in his usual unsuccessful way to take it to 11 today.

Maybe by the end of the week Longhorn fans will learn how to spell "Roschon".

We'll learn how to spell it before Coach O learn how to say it.

He can and should have a bigger role than the 11 carries he got vs LA Tech or the similar work he got last year. The answer to your question is:

1.) He's got durability issues.
2.) A lot more is known about how that kind of workload impacts the body and mind than was 20 years ago.
3.) 30 carries in the kind of tempo system Texas runs now is very different than 30 carries in the 90s.

I would add that most modern spread offenses run more plays than the John Mackovic O of yesteryear, and that a non carry might mean a lead block or blitz pickup on 10-20% more plays than Ricky ran. So 20 carries, 5 passes and a bunch of backfield collisions might equal the kind of pounding backs received in earlier offensive systems. Just a guess.
