10/10 would read again.

Could be this weekend. Might not though. Could commit early, but might decide to wait. Family might push for something, but perhaps not. Ultimately it's his decision, one that he will make over some amount of time and with potential help from family.

Fascinating.

More IT stuff

As we gather information on the weekend visitors, we must say, there aren’t a whole lot of people who think Arch Manning is going to Georgia. It would be very off-brand for this many people behind the scenes to be wrong on their thoughts. To be sure, nobody knows what Arch’s intentions are.

Arch is being hosted by Michael Taaffe. That’s not really a surprise, Taffee has probably been recruiting Arch for a year. Texas is still the team to beat and we’ll have more on it tomorrow.

Texas hosted Cy Woods defensive lineman Terrance Green in recent days and that recruitment is trending well. IT caught up with Green last night. Gerry mentioned he canceled his USC visit. While the Trojans aren’t a concern, we’re still monitoring Oregon and Michigan State.

Green stated how much he enjoyed the visit. He mentioned the school sets up well for him. He wants to study business. He stated he and his mother had a good visit with Steve Sarkisian. “He’s a down to Earth guy,” Green mentioned. He also spent a lot of time with Bo Davis. When IT mentioned UT seems to set up well for him he stated, “It’s Texas. It sets up well.”

Per my source (Arch), it will be before the season, during the season, or after the season.

when IT writes it like that, I feel that we are going to have an egg over our faces in regards to Arch..  But the positive thing is that he and Milwee/Sark seem to have some type of bond.  Hope whatever IT is hearing is correct

Re: Arch...from an IT poster with a track record of posting sourced info:

"According to my source, the recruiting staff is expecting a silent commit on or right after the visit. The recruiting staff has been wrong before, so take it fwiw."

Worth noting that Gerry Hamilton "liked" this post as well.

Why a silent?  What purpose would that serve?  If he wants to recruit talent to play with him,  he should just make it public.

If this rumor is true, it probably means he would like to announce it next weekend at his Uncle's Camp

He will learn when he gets to college that you cannot use white text on a white background.

Maybe it's a metaphor for Gullette in full stormtrooper regalia approaching opposing QBs unseen for devastating kill shots.

Work behind the scenes to coordinate an announcement with Baxter, Johntay, Pettaway and a few other blue chip dudes, obviously

Silent commit is not a commitment. Signed letter of intent is not a commitment. Enrollment is not a commitment. Two-a-days attendance is not a commitment. Attending a game is not a commitment.  Playing snaps is not a commitment.

Commitment starts from within. - Randy Quaid.

Gerry says Texas is recruiting him exclusively at DL.  Green is somewhat open to OL but it would have to be 'down the line'.

Do they think he's a SDE or more of a 3-tech?

They both look to be wearing the same purple shirt as Peyton was wearing last night. Obviously LSU silent commits.

Do they teach breaks vs brakes in college too or just the text vs background thing?

Maybe he’s thinking All Gas, No Brakes didn’t work so well. All Gas, No Breaks works too. He ain’t stopping but always working.

So ... Randle wears faded hand-me-downs from Arch?  Interesting ...

he also seems small for a 4* tight end doesnt he? Admittedly, I know nothing about evaluating.

horse shit. everyone says arch wants to help build around himself.  if he wants to help recruit and build around himself he is not going to silent commit.  he is going to commit and start working on building around himself.
