Texas has nailed down its offense. They need to ensure that defense is going to improve significantly too. LB, DL and coach/scheme are still the question marks IMO going into 2022. If Sark can the ensure defense is on the same positive path as the offense, this program is headed back the right direction, big time. And just in time, before A&M and the SEC make life more difficult.

Breaking news: Quinn Ewers enters transfer portal for 2nd time.

FWIW, I thought this was pretty funny. QE could retire as a multi-millionaire without ever seeing the field again.

This is the most optimistic post you've ever made. The world is changing right before my eyes.

Who's got the link for him? Y'all know what I'm talking about. @closetojumping's famous "Do you realize how good we've got it?" post that most observers believe was the catalyst for his pessimistic turn.

Gerry - Best Class Scenario WITH Arch:

The Texas Longhorns have landed the No. 1-ranked prospect in the On3 Consensus Arch Manning, and now have a clear path to a top 5 class.

With Manning in the fold, along with seven other commitments, Inside Texas Texas takes a look at the Longhorns best class scenario. A class that would provide Steve Sarkisian and staff back-to-back top 5 classes.

This best class scenario is made up of 29 players, including 22 members of the On3 Consensus top 300. All 29 will not be in the class, but a combination of the numbers gets Texas a second straight top 5 class.

This feels a little bit like the Chris Simms commitment with regard to the trajectory of the program. At least I hope so. That was a game changer.

Oh, it will be. Trust me.

Of course this all went down as soon as I got into the car for a lunch meeting. What a huge moment for Texas and 10 year old me who's first favorite football player was Peyton Manning.
