Dude could write some catchy songs.  I saw him several times, always attached to an artist I actually wanted to see.  His performances were . . . variable.  At his best he was hugely entertaining.  RIP Eddie.

Huh. I always thought it was "I've got two chickens to paralyze"

I always thought the lyrics in "Shakin'" said, "Her tits were shakin' till the middle of the night".  Apparently, they are "We did some shakin til the middle of the night."  I refuse to believe it.

Saw him perform at the Runaway Bay Country Club (not in the Top 10,000 venue list) about 10 years ago. He did 2 Tickets to Paradise and the irony was we were 10 miles from Paradise.

Saw him perform two years ago randomly at a casino in Columbus, OH. He still crushed it. Also saw him in Tahoe back in 08 - great show.

RIP.

Hope his daughter carries out his legacy

I subscribe to the Bob Lefsetz newsletter...the target audience is people in the music industry. Thought I'd post what Bob had to say in memoriam about Eddie, along with the email replies he received. A lot of words but made for interesting and moving reading if you're interested in Eddie. Spoilered due to length.

Unfortunate. His hits more than hold their own against others of the time and genre. I always enjoyed his music and got to see him perform several times. First time was prob 12+ years ago at the Nugget in Sparks, NV. Even at that time he looked like he had lived every bit of the clique rock star lifestyle. Even later on life as he looked even rougher, he still put on a pretty high energy show.

Later in life his daughter performed a couple of songs at his shows. She looked pretty hot.
RIP Mr Money.
