Nixon did this same shit too. Released a super misleading transcript that basically absolved him of all the really bad stuff. Fortunately prosecutors discovered the tapes.

Except Trump is so incompetent that the "transcript" he released is still damning in its own right.

Literally nothing this chode has said has addressed ANYTHING that this hearing is about.

Just "democrats are out to get us, they just want to create a public spectacle, but Hillary" bullshit. Fuck these people.

Yeah, that was out of left field.

Schiff apparently got pranked by some Russians who posed as a Ukranian politician.

I don't give a fuck who you are, dropping that on the chairman at this meeting is funny as shit.  Too bad Nunes has no comedic delivery.

I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but is this the actual complaint or another edited copy like yesterday's "transcript"?

This actually all started with a but Hillary.  Trump was trying to get Zelensky to say that the Russian operation to hack the DNC was really a conspiracy between the Ukraine and the DNC.

Seems like the actual complaint.

These military types seem to think that they are still in the military when holding civilian office.   No wonder Trump appoints so many of them.   They follow his orders like they're still in the military chain of command.

That’s odd.  Usually old ladies that work at liquor stores are pretty sharp.

And they are willing to overlook you being 16 or 17 if they can take you in the back room and you fuck them silly for 10 or 15 minutes, or at least until the bell on the door rings and the next customer comes into the store.

The actin DNI said he's not political and not partisan. I assume he's about to become political and partisan.

Or he knows he's about to piss off Trump and the GOP, and is hoping for a career after this

If the President, who has the highest security clearance and can declassify the most top secret intelligence on a whim, is not part of the intelligence community, does that also mean that he, as Commander in Chief, is not part of the defense community?

I'd hate to be one of the guys sitting directly behind the speaker in hearings like this. Have to just sit there looking stoic while your nose probably itches like a mofo, but you don't scratch it because you don't want to look like you're picking it.

Holy shit the whistle blower complaint. Russian language read out of Ukrainian side of the call understood US aid tied to Biden investigation and working with Giuliani.

It’s a detailed description of several months long abuses of power risking national security for personal political gain by the President involving the state department, the OMB, and the fucking attorney general.

Oh and White House Counsel seems directly involved in illegal cover up.

Weve never had a scandal of this scale in the history of our nation

It’s legal houdi semantic bullshit.  Cowards, all of them, except the whistleblower

This is an interesting question.

No it's not.

Frederick H. Fleitz (born 1962) is an American government official, analyst, and commentator. He is the President and CEO of the Center for Security Policy, serving since January 2019.[1] He previously served as the Chief of Staff and Executive Secretary of the National Security Council from May through October 2018, during the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Yep, I was right.  He's going to be a cunt.

Of course. He is a Trump appointee which means he swore loyalty to Trump. The Ukraine call wasn't an isolated incident. All Trump's interactions and hires require quid pro quo.

After all that, he admits he did go to the White House first.  He won't answer easy direct questions.   What a disgrace this guy is.  Stop trying to cover and just answer honestly.

He took the job, didn't he? The results are predictable. He's protecting the President.

Where are you seeing the Russian language readout stuff?

We’ve never had an exclusively White House scandal of this scale.

The Russia investigation was bigger but it had so many tentacles and involves crimes both outside and inside of the White House.

It’s in the whistle blower report. If you haven’t yet, read the whole text. We’ve got 9 pages of unclassified material and reference to sources/witnesses which were presumably attached

This is an interesting question.

It’s pretty clearly written by someone that has experience writing things like this.  But that doesn’t imply outside help, let alone help from a specific group.   The talented person could be the whistleblower himself.
