If you've spent some time in Austin as you should, you've run across Jim.

He's a veteran bartender. Everybody likes him and gets along with him (unless you're an asshole).

Assholes and asshole bartenders - this ain't your thread.

Damn sorry to hear it. Didn't know him but certainly crossed paths; went to same elementary, jr high and high school 2 years apart. Cedar Door (OG 15th st). Montana Mining Company, wow, hadn't thought of that place in years. RIP.

Too young for Montana Mining Co, but started with Jim when he was at Balboa Cafe on 6th while I was at UT. Found him wherever he landed after that. He was a good man. Could not have a bad time with Jim around. 

And he and Linda invented the Mexican martini.
