NE is just going to sleepwalk to another AFC East title and home field.

2 picks and a blocked punt return for a TD. Offense doesn’t have to do shit these days.

Good luck throwing on that secondary.

I’m not sure they’ll play a team that can even try to throw against them until the Eagles(maybe) the cowboys or chiefs in a 3 week stretch starting in week 10.

This is their best defense since the early 2000s.

Yep. They’ll carry Brady to another SB. He won’t quite be Manning with the Broncos last SB but close.

Fire up your Red Zone.

It's nice for 2nd screen

What a brutal play call by Houston. Wow.

Yeah BoB forgot they play a lot of zone I guess. Gonna lose to a backup QB.

I know it's an annual NFL tradition to fire up the "Brady is washed up" hot takes after a bad early season performance, but let's ease back on the stupid just a little bit. Brady just threw his first interception of the year to go along with 7 TDs and over 300 ypg throwing to guys that--other than Edelman and 1 game of Antonio Brown--wouldn't start for most teams in the league. If he's not the best QB in the league anymore, he's definitely still in the conversation.

Peyton Manning was legitimately a liability for much of that season.

That was not said nor implied. He’s not washed. He’s just not some elite level QB anymore. At least with arm talent. Kind of like Brees. You can see he doesn’t quite have the same oomf on his balls like he used to. Doesn’t mean he can’t play or that he’s “washed”.

You need to stop acting like I’m saying something shocking and damn sure Need to cool it on the “idiotic” shit. Nothing I said was stupid.

They brought back essentially the same defense that won the super bowl.

They still haven't played a team that has a pulse on offense this season.

Speaking of not having a pulse, that could be a real concern for Stafford if the Lions don't do something about Chris Jones in the second half.

Peyton Manning's stats that SB season: 9 TDs, 17 INTs, 225 ypg, <60% completion percentage.

Explain to me how Brady is anywhere "close" to that level of needing to be carried?

Yes, what you said was pretty damn stupid.

I said “like” and you took it as literal as possible.

Let me clarify for you. They defenses/ST will have to carry Brady because he’s not elite anymore. He’ll show up in a bit game and have game winning drives. But it isn’t 2011 anymore.

He’ll be carried much like Brees(funnily who you conveniently left out of my comparison) will be. No one is saying he’s washed other.

Ya know, it would be a whole hell of a lot easier to admit that you forgot just how shitty Manning was that year and made a mistake. It happens.

Attention anyone that works at a Foot Locker in Detroit.  Do not change into your work uniform until you arrive at work.  You are putting your life in jeopardy if you do not.

At this point, any play over 20 yards in the NFL that isn't called back is cause for celebration, even if maybe it should have been.
