The NCAA has vacated all wins by Mary Hardin-Baylor football during the 2016 and 2017, including the 2016 D-III national championship, as punishment for rules violations.

UMHB will appeal the NCAA's decision to vacate the national title. The Crusaders self-reported the violations to the NCAA.

The infractions occurred when head coach Pete Fredenburg loaned his 2006 Subaru to student-athletes. One player was allowed to use the car during the 2016 and 2017 seasons, according to the Associated Press. On another occasion, Fredenburg loaned the car to another student, but it broke down within an hour and was towed.

The loan violated the NCAA's rules on impermissable benefits and head coach responsibility. Fredenburg expressed regret at his actions, and stated that he misunderstood a rule about impermissable benefits.

They will have to surrender a whole two season worth of wins or games which will become (*) in the record books just because a coach loaned his car to some players.

What a load a shit.

Meanwhile has anyone checked the payroll at Big Red Sports and Imports in Norman lately.  Just asking for a friend.

The only way this story could get (better?) is if the kid used the car to go see Mom or grandma home sick with cancer. Way to go NCAA. Big bad asses to the little kids but scared to stand up to the big kids. Cucks.

Mary Hardin-Baylor should have known better than to let Texas A&M buy football prospects. If Mary Hardin Baylor hadn't let Louisville pay for basketball players, then Mary Hardin Baylor wouldn't be having this problem with the NCAA.

What is up with Mary Hardin Baylor letting all this institutional control throughout the entire SEC in football and most of the ACC in basketball run amok?

For shame, Mary Hardin Baylor!

Mary Hardin Baylor did NOTHING I repeat NOTHING to prevent infractions in the SWC in the 1980s and 90s. I blame them for 20+ years of suck at SMU.

This isn't getting enough love. Worth a click and read.

Saban - It's my car dealership and I'll "give" away as many cars as I like, suck it NCAA.

I don't see any 2006 Subarus there. It's fine.

My wife's cousin is the equipment manager for the Cru, so yeah, close to home and all that.

I am sorry your wife's family is associated with this corrupt and ethically bankrupt school.
