There is now way these things happen on the same day.

I would love to see Urban walk in one door as Herman is escorted out the other one. Then some rent a cop security guard takes Herman's keys to the building and hands him his cardboard box full of shit and send him packing as the sounds of the media and fans going wild over Urban echo in his greasy little ears.

Best burger joint in Silsbee, TX. GO.

Is Dippity's in Lumberton still open? That was my jam back in the day. A double and an order of onion rings.

Hamburger Depot is pretty good too.

It's allll tied together. You just have to look closely, for a long time, with your eyes a little crossed ... like with those subliminal poster thingies that were popular back in the 90s.

We are holistic in that way...and cats

Charcoal House in San Angelo. Burgers, fries and the best steak fingers ever. They also had the best BBQ sauce I have ever tasted.

Stallion was on N. Lamar, not Burnet.  Yeller gravy for the win.

My dad bought a booth from the Stallion at auction when it closed down and put it in our kitchen.

Yeah. People ask me what's changed about Austin, and I tell them we no longer have an aversion to pretension.

Dallas owns that crown.

it is amazing how subject this board is to believing random ass people coming on here and making up a bunch of vague shit that their random "buddies" who were "on the call" told them but it somehow hasn't made it out to legitimate outlets.  i suppose that's what us being 2-7 against fucking tcu will do.  FUCK it has been a long, shitty decade.
Then they go back to texaggy and link their triumphant troll

I’ll not turn down whataburger, Dan’s, P Terry’s, players (RIP), in and out, TN (RIP), shake shack, I’m sure a bunch of others but no way on the major chains. Anyone with Wendy’s and BK or McD’s on the list just needs to go home and fist themselves.

RIP Players, indeed.  Loved their fajita nachos and the burgers were great too.

Had never had shake shack till they put one in Minute Maid park. Damn good burger, but nothing beats whataburger, nothing remotely close. Double meat whataburger with cheese, bacon, jalapeños and grilled onions. Wish they would bring the A1 thick n heart back

That's well put. I struggle to describe how Austin has changed. That's pretty spot on. It's not as pretentious as the West Coast or NYC, but it doesn't actively stiff-arm that pretense like it used to, either.

Give me the burger at Casino with the buffalo sauce, whatever it's called.

Keller’s is one of my favorite spots on Earth. They will deliver you multiple beers while you sit in the driver seat and you can just drive away. Also whoever mentioned Herd burgers knows what’s up.

Supply meet Demand.

You can buy that house much cheaper in Kansas City or Houston or Oklahoma City. But then you own a nice house in any one of those God awful shit cities.

Players at 2am with the deep fried Nachos covered in a mound of real cheese with jalapenos and a giant chocolate shake was some good shit.  Now you all got me thinking about that and with all the burger talk on this thread I am wanting a GM Steakhouse cheeseburger with a side of fries covered in cream gravy.  Damn I miss the days of young persons metabolism.

I'm confused. Are we talking about the dude that used to host Fear Factor or is there somebody noteworthy named Joe Rogan?

He hosted fear factor and now has the most popular podcast in the world. Recently signed a $100m deal with spotify and moved to the estates on Lake Austin at the end of cuernavaca. He also calls UFC fights and does some stand up comedy. The bit about the Bruce Jenner cutting his dick off is some of his best work.

Yep but people on the coasts say the same about Texas.

I still think a Pete's taco from Maudies - drowned in salsa - is the best breakfast taco in town.

I love it but best it is not. It’s like a world class frozen Owens breakfast taco.
