Corsicana TX sure seems like a terrible place and I would only drive through it on my way to Tyler a couple of times a month three years ago. Everyone in their cars had a look on their face as if they were in the most miserable place on earth.

That's because they were all stuck in the left lane behind someone who was trying to turn left across two lanes of dead-stop traffic.

31 West through the Can needs to be carpet bombed.

So if Texas loses to KSU, Herman probably gets fired within a few hours. If Texas wins, any guesses as to when he gets fired?

Far worse places than Corsicana. Hell they have a Starbucks, Chik fila and a home depot. Just go 10 miles east on 31 to Kerens and you'll see despair.

you forgot the Collin Street Bakery.  Nice oasis on the long trip from Austin to Jackson, MS.  Free coffee and clean bathrooms before there were Bucky's.

noticed Cleveland in district with College Station, how much has that place grown the last ten years?

I noticed Liberty Hill is 5a now....that's crazy.

Also I remember my school(old 3a which is currently 4a) being larger than Hutto back in 2004. Crazy.

After reading this thread, I don't think Texas can make fun of Ohio anymore.

Ohio is the Florida of the Midwest. We can make fun of it all we want.

Because people in California are escaping here like the scene of the last helicopters leaving Saigon just before it fell.

I choked on a 7-11 hotdog back in highschool.  Starving, was eating it by the drink coolers in the back and fucking chunk of meat went down the wrong pipe.  shoulda died.  panicked breathed in deeply, fucker lodged in there.  Coughed and spew, projectile hot dog on the floor.  scary as shit.

Gotta agree with this... surprised that speed and quickness are not better at DB, WR and RB.

Heard Urban recently mention that great defense against today's offenses have to include at least one great DE and CB -- those are huge advantages in today's CFB.

yep.  speed can be fixed pretty quick.  But the other BIG item is to fix the OL that Mack destroyed and we have never recovered from.

They had a chuys when I went there oh like 35 years ago.

Not part of the chain, but yes. John Madden famously stopped there and loved it. Kept going back

What y’all know about Anderson, TX?

Best of the  Grimes county towns but that's not saying much

Speaking of burgers and dogs, has anyone eaten at JCI in Houston lately.  That was always a good late night spot back in the 90s.  I leaned toward burgers and chili cheese fries.

People will be shocked to see how much speed we actually have when they're being coached correctly and in the correct positions.

We talking hot dogs in this thread now also? All beef, onions, mustard and relish. I yell at my kid if he puts ketchup on a hot dog.

We were already talking assholes, so we might as well throw lips into the mix as well.

My grandmother, who lived in Abilene for 80+ years (shocked Abilene hasn't been mentioned), always said Midland/Odessa was the worst place she's ever been.

Depends on if the ink is dry or not. That's the only thing that matters at this point. If it's Urban, he's done immediately. If it's a back up, we're probably looking at after Kansas, so they can lock it up before announcing.

Has the Palace decided whether this Larry character knows shit or not?

It seems he knows, something, but we're not sure what. He's been bullish the whole time and had insight and timing for the Ewers commitment and decommit and OSU commit.

Larry's been saying it's "done" for weeks. It's obviously not done. He doesn't know shit. It's really that simple.

I realize this is probably six minutes and 18 pages too late, but I fucking hate the beach.  Any beach.  Sand, salt water and wind combined with skin whiter than aggy's weekend cross-burning robe add up to my worst nightmare.

Idon't like sand. It's coarse and rough and iritating, and it gets everywhere. ullh ...epic Writing Mr Lucas....epIC... Anakin Skywalker Luke Skywalker

Most people moving to Austin are coming from other parts of Texas.  But never pass on an opportunity to shit on California I guess

Apparently, Texas is chock full of shitty towns.  Let's talk about cool towns; better mojo.

It's hard to beat Gruene, TX on a beautiful spring evening.  One of the best nights of my life was at a Jerry Jeff concert in Gruene Hall on just such an evening.

I was never a huge JCI fan for their burgers, but I do miss the Lucy Juicy Burger at Pappas Burgers off of Westheimer. A burger stuffed with pimento cheese, had bacon jam on the bun, grilled onions and an over easy egg. It was an absolute gut bomb.

The shittiest town in TEXAS, that’s the topic? The only State in the Nation that could stand on its own if we had to.

From the Butt naked clubs in Houston, to the Swanky Casino in Eagle Pass across the Methed Up East Texas towns to hills of central Texas. We all stand for football and at least we know we’re  free.
