This is 2020 all.  It won't end like this.  On Saturday morning Urban will announce on live TV on the Fox pregame that he is accepting the role to be the new head coach for the University of Texas and is going to win multiple national titles.  He will then board a plane to Austin and crash into a mountain.  That is more of a 2020 kick in the dick we should be expecting.

Alright everyone, let's relax... I got the sub for Buckeye Scoop so I will post if they put up an update. Somehow I doubt this would be how such news would break.

This Kirk Barton?  Seems like a good guy

https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football/2018/06/93915/former-ohio-state-lineman-kirk-barton-indicted-on-two-felonies

elaware County indicted former Ohio State offensive lineman Kirk Barton on Friday stemming from a June 1 incident at the Bogey Inn following a day at the Memorial Tournament in Dublin.

The Inn's management phoned the Sheriff's office and requested the removal of Barton, whom they judged to be intoxicated after stumbling into multiple guests.

Delaware County Sheriff's deputies escorted Barton into a waiting taxi. Communication broke down, and the ensuing dispute resulted in deputies tasering and arresting Barton.

From 10TV:

Carl O'Brien with the Delaware County Prosecutor said, "The owner of the Bogey requested an intoxicated male patron be escorted out of the establishment. The patron became uncooperative and slammed Deputy Andrew Lee's arm in the door of a taxi as Deputy Lee attempted to secure safe transport for Mr. Barton."

Delaware County charged Barton with one count of assault, a fourth-degree felony, and one count of obstructing official business, a fifth degree felony.

Fourth-degree felonious assault is punishable by a prison term of six to 18 months in prison fines of up to $5,000. If obstruction of official business creates a risk of harming someone, it's a fifth-degree felony punishable by up to a year in jail.

Royal was done at 52.   Its even more pressure now.  as long as Notre Dame/tOSU has a coach I'd think he's done if we can't pry him away.

Royal didn't leave when he did because of the pressure.  He left because of people like Barry Switzer.

Hate to say I told you so, but yeah. Some of you owe me an apology. Wish I had put some money on Herman as Texas HC 2021.

Let this forever be a lesson that all the flightaware tracking (has that ever once proven accurate/useful?) and all the ambiguous wife tweets in the world are meaningless without concrete info. Meyer and his wife were probably never even in Texas, much less HSB. Somewhere, @futureman’s asshole weeps tears of joy.

what does it say when aggy can throw money and get a MNC coach and we can't?

Says that coach was desperate to get the fuck out of Tallahassee.

This. If Urban wanted to say no, he would come out and say it. Why use this chode as a mouthpiece?

I think it is up to the spinner to be honest.   he can't say no publicly now because we don't have an opening.  due to health and spinner probably not wanting to move, family, etc this always was a sub 30% shot IMO.

If we don't get him all the crap from the 9.95ers about his demands/needs was bullshit.

As I am used to making ridiculous interpretations as part of my job for my benefit, the sad Jordan face means he is coming here....it is directed at Ohio State.
