Same here. You can leave lunch meat on the counter for three days. The butter in my butter boat is as firm as the butter in the fridge.

My old man had some good ones about the old houses he lived in growing up:

Our ceilings were so thin, you could look up at night and see the Big Dipper.

Grandma's teeth froze in the glass of water next to the bed.

We had 4 inches of snow outside, and 2 1/2 inches inside.

Must've been one glorious fucking tent.

I'm confident it is. And the person who posted the plane in the first place confirmed it a few pages ago. Would love to hear your basis for thinking it's not.

I just don’t think it is.

Here is a 1991 50 for sale.

Where the paneling meets the ceiling is very different. I just picked one pic, but there are many pics out there showing this.

If he refurbished the plane (which I don’t think he did....but I’d he did it was a long time ago) this still wouldn’t change.

Just my opinion man

This thread is like the time I lived with an Aggy girlfriend. I knew it was wrong. So wrong. But I kept on coming back because of her big tits and tight pussy.

This thread is not delivering yet but I keep coming back with some hope.

So, the businessman calls the escort service, and says "Send a girl over to my hotel room. And she better have big tits and a tight pussy".

An hour later, there's a knock at the door.  The businessman opens the door, and the girl says "I'm looking for the guy with the big mouth and the little dick"

Now I know why you’re called “Chief,” it was a tepee, wasn’t it?

Yes, clearly different seats, along with a number of other changes. All renovations post-2015 purchase - you can swap out seats. As said, the bones are the same, including the seat configuration. Not to mention there are aren't a ton of F 50s out there flying around (they were also discontinued over 10 years ago), particularly those registered to TX owners.

In fact, there's a single F50 (of any year) registered to an Austin owner. This one.

How is it that we have so many connected posters here on Surly and yet none of them are close enough to have solid information

Because once in our programs history everyone is fucking aligned. From Eltife, Hartzell, CDC, and the donors. It’s a good sign and a positive sign going forward.

Because the only ones who really know jack shit are Meyer, CDC and Hartzell.

The taqueria by campus had pretty tasty tacos.

Damn that takes me back. The food cart by RLM that had fajita tacos and fried rice? A beef fajita taco, a chicken fajita taco that would get dumped into the fried rice was a great fucking meal. I think those guys in the cart might've gotten busted for selling stolen goods or something? Their fajita had a distinct flavor that i haven't found since.

If you have never lived in a house with only space heaters and electric blankets in the dead of winter, then you have never suffered.

We had a electric oven and would eat breakfast by it with the door open. We were fucking poor, but never went without food.  Makes me appreciate what a UT diploma has gotten me

I’m on a Hall Sauvignon Blanc, and I’m soon moving on to some Pisgah Pale Ale.

Cab Sav for me. It went well with the grilled lamb chops.

Wax Beer Cup, any direction on the tomatillo sauce?

Thanks for the recipe!

Can’t remember the brand I use (haven’t made in a while).  But it’s off the shelf standard grocery brand green salsa.  I would think anything decent would work.  Never tried with fresh, but I’d think that would take it up a notch.

Pigeon.

you're a pilot iirc?

Negative. I started when I was in high school but was too much of an idiot to handle that responsibility.

I’ve been around aviation my entire life. I can identify almost anything in the air. I saw a plane take off in Rockport last week and as it went overhead I was like “wow, a Merlin”. Hadn’t seen one of those in 20 years but very distinctive shape.

Not a pilot at all.

Well @derpyhorndog’s plane is landing any second now, so there is hope for late night intrigue yet.

Not complaining... Just adding a laugh

Burrito Macho every day for breakfast.  Corner of Speedway and Dean Keeton circa mid-to-late 90s
