Meh. That was the right move based on what they knew at the time.

Yes, that Yelich was on the cusp of being one of the best players in baseball. Lulz, you are an idiot.

And if you claim you saw Yelich being what he is now, you’re a liar.

we kind of went all-in on the current group. will take some time to re-stock the farm system.

Going to be interesting to see the new approach from Click.

I’ve got that Big Click Energy. I think we’ll be fine.

Yordan’s status for opening day is still up in the air with knee problems. All good. Let’s just all be healthy at the end of September

Both starting pitchers in our two games are getting lit up.

I feel like this is going to be a problem every time we have to start two pitchers simultaneously this season.

I used to be interested in Spring Training results, but like the preseason in the NFL/NBA they really are meaningless. Get your work in and don't get injured. Though this ST, Verlander getting hurt really sucks.

Buccholz, Cashner, and A. Sanchez still available, though Aaron would be more for next year, when starting pitching is again likely an issue.

Yep. Baltimore being 3 games over .500 should tell you everything you need to know about Spring Training

I'm beginning to feel more and more that Opening Day is gonna get canceled unfortunately

Watch the Astros jump out to a 10 game lead at the quarter season mark after playing in empty stadiums. People will be pissed they didn't have to deal with the hecklers.

Damn that's my thoughts now...with Houston canceling all permitted events in March.  I had bought tickets for the Sunday game of that opening series.

Saw that Tucker played 1st today, interesting. Also, Whitley had another meh outing. I know it's spring training and maybe he's just working on stuff, but he has not been good so far.

Have tickets for Opening Day. Was going to be my first time to attend Opening Day in 8 years.

I'm worried about the entire season at this point.

100% they will do something, but doubt they will cancel it all. I bet they just postpone the start until shit calms down. Like a May start..

So you think short season or full slate with the playoffs pushed back, and fewer off days?

Short season would probably be good for JV and Greinke.

Oh ya JV could benefit. I’m sure there would be issues with playoffs pushing past October. So I think a shortened season...hell maybe baseball will continue with 100 game seasons. 162 sucks.

You really don't want 100 game seasons forever because if they did that ticket prices will double per game and concessions will go up. They are still gonna get their $$$.

So can't they just keep opening day and play in empty stadiums or will they punt the season a month?

Empty stadiums would trigger massive refunds
