@OnAComputer my man, this was your biggest mistake yet. Derick Johnson would be ideal for this team today. Does not sound like you are aware, DJ played at less than 220lbs as a FR and not much more as a SO. It was not until his JR-money year(2nd half of that season) that he thought he needed the extra weight and it was visible he lost a step but still had the instincts. The extra pounds made him look a bit weird his JR year. He was as twitchy and fast as anyone, your boy Murray could not keep up with DJ. Otherwise a good listen and y'all have good rapport. Again, DT has a great eye for football.

Thank you, that's the most authentic I've ever heard Tom come across.

I always have mixed feelings about whether Herman will get it done here.  On one hand, he understands everything that needs to be done off the field to maximize our program.  Upgrading the facilities, expanding the support staff, hiring the best media team.  On the other hand, he has let his own ego fuck him over.  He should have fired his OC and some staff members after the 1st two years.  Herman is not stupid and he knew Beck couldn’t cut it here and he knew Mehringer, Meekins, Warehime sucked.  Herman started calling plays year 1 after seeing how bad beck sucked and reshuffled his staff to bring Hand on board but kept these incompetent morons on staff bc he didn’t want to look wrong in front of the media.  His own ego fucked him.  He if can hire the best and get out of their way, he has a chance to be successful here.  That podcast atleast gives me some hope that he’s looked at himself in the mirror.  He’s not stupid.  He knows if he doesn’t turn this around next year with a senior Sam and a team with great depth, then he’ll be betting on Casey Thompson to save his ass in 2021 in a rebuilding year or his he’ll be fired from his dream job.

LOL on the Drunk Uncle Podcast.. Chuck Carlton took a shot at Howe at the end when the pod was over but it kept recording.  Said 247 is living off his interview with Herman.. Said Jeff Howe "ok copy and paste this , grab content and he has his posts for the day" LOL.  He preferred the way Anwar used his interview for his sunday column.

With the news that nickleback Anthony Cook is no longer a Texas Longhorn, we take a look at what this means for the secondary moving forward. What does presumed starter Chris Adimora bring to the table and who else will step up to take on the work in the secondary. We also take a look at some of the highly-ranked recruits from the 2018 and 2019 class that have not panned out on the Forty Acres.

Everyone Gets a Trophy Podcast « » A Cook Leaves The Kitchen    (8 days ago)

https://player.fm/series/everyone-gets-a-trophy/a-cook-leaves-the-kitchen

Toppling statues of US Grant, abolitionists and Stevie Ray Vaughan seems constructive and educated, but remember, strippers can be any gender! Why is it important for positive athlete movements to separate from more radical elements? Then, we talk college football's elite signal callers. Who is overrated, underrated and properly rated? Then it's on to the Longhorns weakest non-conference opponents: UTEP is terrible and Charlie Strong burned it all down at South Florida. Paul explains how and why. Finally, Longhorn defensive back Anthony Cook is done with the program. What does it mean to the 2020 Longhorn defense?
