Havent seen the Sark presser from Thursday. Saw Sarks quote about "poking the bear"  all over twitter.

The Horn usually posts the audio. But nothing.

Yeah... wonder if Sark said don't post his Sep15 Media Availability video...

"You guys can keep poking the bear on what I do at QB. At the end of the day, I'm not going to give you game-planning decisions on how we practice. There's a reason you guys don't come to practice. If I wanted you to know who took snaps, I'd let you come to practice."

Everyone Gets a Trophy Podcast... Scipio Tex

Sept 27th:  Westbound & Down

"Fundamentals are the crutch of the talentless." - Kenny Powers.

Paul and Randy Boone break down the Texas loss in Lubbock and look to the future. They also talk about the Ovie Oghoufo incident and how cooler heads prevented a really bad scene, what's going on with the Texas D, and maybe Sark needing to not be afraid of going to the well again. Then it's a full on BS session: which of Randy's teammates was the best at football, Joey McGuire unfiltered, the greatness and accuracy of Kenny Powers, blue collar dog parks, coaching your own kid, the consistent desecration of the Randy Boone statue by Cuero pranksters, DKR getting a grass field, and cricket and tarantula attacks.

Can you summarize? I don’t want to listen to sark talk.

  • Two close tough losses, but still a good team and work to do.  Practiced well.
  • Players Leadership Council met Monday, and called players only meeting Tuesday
  • Not gonna tell Kirk (FKB) who starts QB
  • Hall slowly working his way back in
  • Didn't play up to our standard vs Tech
  • Be confident and play hard, fast, physical with "Our Hair on Fire"
  • 1) Have a plan on defense that can be executed by players.  2) Practice it during week so we feel in sync with pressures and coverages.  3) Coaches have to be demanding of what we are asking players to do.  4) Players need to trust calls, do their jobs, and execute.
  • West Virginia is good and multiple on offense w/good coaches and schemes... blah, blah, blah, blah.
  • During practice put in extra time on 3rd and 4th down defense.  Also put extra time in on 3rd down offense.
  • Struggles getting hits on QB and not getting turnovers.  Need to be swarming to the ball better with fanatical effort
  • Teams getting more aggressive on 4th downs... new analytics of the game being used more.  Texas has to take advantage, make stops and go score.

Your welcome @immamac
