If any of you want to power grind some levels, holler when I'm on and I'll run you through hordes or pits. XP comes quick before 220 or so. Intricate#1497

Based on the drops, I'm assuming Spiritborn?

Yeah. I think there is only one build that can clear T150, atm, Quill Volley, without glitching (if we dont excuse bugged skills, then no build can without glitching). I'm hoping we get some buffs for other classes during the mid-season patch.

I've shelved my Barrage Rogue for a Quill Volley Spiritborn, and it is such a better build.  I can see why you went that direction.  I'm only at Torment 1, but it has been very easy going.  I'm still farming specific gear to fit the build, but I finally got my first Mythic last night.  Unfortunately, it was the mostly worthless ‍Nesekem, the Herald.  It looks good on paper, but does not perform so well in practical use. I'm likely going to switch from the standard Quill Volley to the Overpower version at some point, but we'll see how the gear falls.

Finished the season track and all objectives last night.
May still play a bit to knock out some other stuff, but t his was enjoyable (SB quill volley of course).

Wasn't a huge fan of the expansion campaign story. I felt like it just wasn't very good.

I finished all the season stuff a week or so ago myself.  I've been trying to get my gear upgraded so I can move from Torment 2 to 3 without having to take too much of a resistances hit, but I have not been particularly lucky with drops or gambling.  I think I have most of what I need to transition from Quill Volley to Touch of Death, so I may give that a shot, but I'm a few key pieces short of being able to maximize the build.

I agree with you on the campaign story, though I do like seeing Kurast added.  It has always been my favorite in previous Diablo versions.

After almost a week of unsuccessfully farming runes for the last one I needed to craft Tyrael's, I decided to go ahead and jump to Torment 3.  As was my experience when moving from 1 to 2, it was a bit of a struggle with a few "what the fuck just insta-killed me" occurrences.  It was worth it, as got the rune within a couple of hours, and was able to put together a workable Touch of Death build.  It uses a lot more uniques than the QV variants, which works better for me, as I have more luck getting those than ancestral legendaries with the preferred affixes.

I'm sure something will take me down soon enough, but I don't think I have even taken any damage so far, and Pit levels that were challenging my QV are a breeze.  I still have about 80 Paragon levels to go and some equipment upgrades to work on, but I can at least enjoy all that Torment 3 has to throw at me without having to constantly watch my health bubble, which is how I prefer to roll.  I think I'm good armor and resistance wise for Torment 4, but will definitely need to up my damage.

I don't know if I will reach Pit L150 before the season ends, but that's not as important to me as enjoying the game, which I am.  As I'm still relatively new to D4, I'd also like to reach 100% renown in all areas (have only managed Fractured Peaks so far), so I have plenty of diversions to keep the game entertaining.  In the least, I should have a lot more crafting materials stockpiled before the next season, which will make things a lot easier.

I went bone spear necro.

I'm enjoying it but I take a lot of damage and I don't know if that is from me casting the spells, piercing damage from my own spell, or if the monsters are hitting me.

Not enough damage to die, but enough to lower my health and I have to use potions.

I've been rolling with Blood Surge necro until I get enough gear to switch to Blood Wave, but I think I am probably close enough to make the switch.  I am probably better equipped to go Bone Spirit or Bone Spear, but I am determined to not constantly change my mind on my build this time, even if the Armory makes it easier.

Finished out the season the other night.

I could not get mythic chest to drop at all.

Bone Spear wasn't a bad build, but some of the gear was almost impossible to get the necessary rolls for. Watching some other builds just lol their way through mobs made me think I chose wrong.

Getting rolls on gear is always a challenge for me.  Even tempering is a pain, as I almost always have to reset several items, and in some cases trash them.  Seeing the same useless boost get selected 7 times in a row is pretty annoying.  I'm just not lucky that way.  I have had some mythics drop, but never the ones I need, and I had to craft both required for blood wave, neither of which has the optimal spec.  Don't even get me started with the stupid amulet that has 3 passives on it.  I'd be happy to get one passive I need so I can at least try to roll a second.

That said, bone wave is pretty easy going once you adjust to the slower pace of spamming the main damage skill.  Even with none of my gear optimized, and all my glyphs still ~75, I'm getting through Pit125 with over 9 minutes left.  I'm no longer one-shotting the end boss, but 2-3 hits does the trick.

My only real goals this season are to get to 300 paragon, and maybe get all original characters to L60.  The Mother's Blessing patch that rolls out this week should help with both.  I may try to get to Pit150, but it's not a priority for me.  That said, if I'm going to do it, this blood wave build may be my best chance, unless the patch nerfs it.

It's a hoot to spin up new characters and outfit them will fully upgraded witching powers.  They are walking death.  My dancing knives rogue didn't even fire a shot until L10.

I may jump back in to raise some paragon levels but I'm not sure.
I feel you on trying to get passives, or worse for me, a bunch of + to specific skills on an amulet.
