I haven’t watched much SMU this year but Shane looks better than he ever did at Texas...I’m mostly talking about decision making. Fuck our shitty coaches

SMU is looking impressive so far. And yeah Shane looks way better than he did at Texas. And I mean he’s making better decisions, throws have more zip, etc. so don’t give me the “it’s just the system/competition” bs.

Shane Methodist Univ is in the national spotlight, primetime with Chris Fowler.  Wowza.  If they run the table, how can they be denied the playoffs?

Ok seriously, if they are 13-0, they get a major bowl, no?

He's definitely improved. Anyone saying "it's the competition" is being ignorant. The American is a solid conference.

GG also improved at SMU.  Ended up winning a SB ring and is on a 53 man roster now. Cray.

True I guess. This is a much better team than the ones Gilbert played on. Defense is part of that equation though.

Intentional grounding on a screen like that isn't called very often.  If there's traffic around the rb, qbs usually get away with just spiking it into the ground.
