It's still there.  Not in Lakewood anymore?

Oh we haven't lived there since 2004. We've been east of the lake ever since. There is a lack of good burger places over here but we did get a Rodeo Goat in Casa Linda. Goodfriend also has good burgers. My go-to for a time was Dugg Burger but it didn't make it through Covid. People swear by Flaming Burger over here but it looks sketchy as hell.

Jake’s has opened a new location on Walnut Hill/Marsh in the rebuilt shopping center that was destroyed by the tornado in 2019.

They didn’t have their liquor license when we went last week but it should be a decent place to watch games once they do.

They’ve got what looks like it could be a decent patio scene out back with a massive TV. We don’t really have that many good places to watch sports over here so this will do in a pinch.

That intersection was dogshit (even before the tornado) when we used to live up there. Glad to see they finally have 1 place worth eating at. Did that taco place that opened earlier this year near Spec’s make it?

No bullshit, this was one of the worst things I've ever had from a restaurant (at the downtown FW location).

FLAMING ROOSTER 10.99

Another Texas favorite for 40 years! A juicy grilled chicken breast, hot mustard, jack cheese, &
fresh pico de gallo.

Didn't get a burger because just had one the night before. I failed.
