Idk why the game threads aren’t just named “Shakablah vs (insert team)”

Hopefully Galindo is out sick.

I got Texas winning 82-55. Hook em.

We won’t cover the spread but the under looks appetizing.

A couple of games in my uneducated take is we have a good A team (including Jones) but our bench..

Well, in all fairness we have a HC that is pretending too.

PVAMU is also converting some high-degree-of-difficulty shots. Gotta think there's a regression to the mean in the next 20.

“PV has played in some tough environments.  They’re not afraid to come to Austin.”  —Galindo

Like Austin is some kind of basketball snake pit?

"Some of these games are getting them ready for SWAC play" just a few, smidgen

You don’t just host PVAMU and try to surpass 60pts.  That’s for the Kentucky’s is the world.

I'm hopeful that in his tenth year at Texas, and I'm sure he'll get five more years because CDC doesn't care about the results, Shaka will realize that his team gets open looks from 3 because they're bad 3-point shooters.

Williams was awesome tonight. Really excited about him.

Shot selection is still a huge issue, though. We shot 63% from 2 versus 27% from 3, yet we took 33 3s and only 24 2s. Settling for so many 3s against teams like CBU and PVAM is not a good sign for conference play when teams will have more success shutting down the lane against us.

9 for 31 from 3 is atrocious.  Guess we are just content to die by the 3.

This is the NCAA version of preseason; thats m hope...
we are fast as f and play okay, getting better D, use that to you advantage.
