So is Qanon and Christianity intertwined? This is a newer wrinkle to me.

My sister-in-law started spouting off more about Christian morals after she dipped her toe in the Qanon urinal.  She was not quite anti-semitic, but she would note/single-out Jewish things when they came up at the times we were around each other over the past year.  She was never church-going, and was definitely not living a Christian lifestyle (still doesn't on both of those accounts), so I've been kind of curious about this whole Christian/Q thing came about as well.

I wish the Mormons or Scientologists would sweep in and pull these people into their organizations, and out of the spotlight.

@Hugo Stiglitz-you seem to know a lot about this movement, and although I have heard of it, (how could one not,) I've mostly ignored them as they are as far out as the Area 51 people. So, on the flyer you posted for this rally, are the numbers 0800-2000 the time of the event?

The man saying the prayer rushed the words 'reconciliation,' 'land,' and 'Lord' and my first thought was the rather blasphemous 'and lead us not to eviction...'

Who do you think is 'Q'?

Given what he had in his past, I guess that would make sense. Weird. I suppose they feel like it gives them some sort of power over everyone else. They better not try and take out Ellen DeGeneres though. Her fan base would level that family doctor in the video.

Wait.

You think Michael Flynn has something to do with Q or just people like Michael Flynn?

People like Michael Flynn, like Michael Flynn’s son and people like him.  Bannon is in this group too.  Basically, your diabolical assholes with some military intelligence experience.

I don't follow Q very closely, but have any of their conspiracy theories come to fruition?

I seem to remember something about JFK Jr. coming back on the 4th of July.

Whatever happened with that?

Not one single prediction has come true.  It's starting to devolve into your garden variety right wing conspiracy group.  (Jews, one world government, chem trails, etc., etc.)  They're not nearly as entertaining at this point.

Article does a poor job explaining things. There are two separate issues here. The first, is whether he is mentally competent to stand trial. If he is found not competent, the case doesn't go away. He gets sent off to a lock-down psychiatric hospital where they wait for him to regain competency. If he doesn't, then he just stays there. The second issue is a competent defendant asserting that he was incapable of forming the requisite intent due to a mistaken belief due to mental illness. Doesn't sound like that's what they are arguing here. He fully intended to kill the victim. He just killed him for reasons that don't exist.

played in a charity pool tournament this weekend and one of the teams I played against had a guy with a "Long live JFK Jr" shirt with "Q" on the back. I decided to not engage. I was more focused on beating him, which I didn't do. Womp womp.

does anyone have any recommendations about documentaries about Q followers? I love watching videos about people with weird theories like cults or sovereign citizens, etc. I imagine there is a decent amount of cross-over of people with these ideas.

I don't want to watch their videos but rather ones where someone is skeptical of them.

Somebody in another thread said all of these Republicans looked like they were bullied mercilessly as children.  Add another one to that list.

Is it just me or does he slightly resemble Jared (of Subway infamy) prior to his weight loss campaign? I suppose the GOP does have a lot of white, crew cut, overweight members, but the similarity with the cheesy smile is what made me go hmmmm.

Seems normal.

Well, I’m on the phone with my computer security service, and as I understand it someone compromised my IP address and is using it to download child pornography. I might just be a random target. But this could be an attempt to Qanon me.

It’s an ugly world out there.

lulz, it was a right-wing conspiracy theory that downloaded CP on your computer?
