Wasn't he a name under consideration when FUPM was looking for coaches

Yes.  I think he may have even had a deal with Texas and something better came along and he backed out.

Pretty sure he is considered a very good OL coach.

If he has deep roots in Texas and likes to get fucked up at titty joints, he has a job here. Let’s get him on the phone and see if he checks off the boxes.

By deep roots in Texas do you mean no roots in Texas?

Rumor is that he may be wanted at Rutgers.    To bring "stability".  lol

I mean if they don't follow through with Schiano, he'd be a good choice. Competent coach, players love him, rarely got blown out, knows the East Coast Catholic schools.

He was, but spilling champagne all over yourself on the flight to Austin, and then heading in for the interview probably went over about as well as a Warehime house call.

""his firing last week was immediately met with numerous former BC players who couldn’t wait to share their negative experiences with Addazio."

"Urban Meyer has been working as a consultant for Colorado State in its search, and was photographed with Parker and McConnell in Indianapolis on Saturday night.  Addazio also shares a trait with Wilson and Alford in that all three are fruits of the Urban Meyer coaching tree."

The coaching world is definitely a circle the wagons old boys club. I hope it implodes one day. Mainly because all these horrible fucks shouldn’t be getting paid millions after they fail at their jobs.

Addazio landing that job really has to be the biggest WTF of the coaching carousel so far.

Talking about their students and alums.  Fort Collins is a nice town but Boulder is better.

Reports of Ohio State DC Jeff Hafley to BC as HC.  Great get for BC, bad move for Haf.  He can do better.

BC has a definite ceiling because of location, school size and academics, but it also has good facilities and very, very patient administration that tends to see football as more a part of the Jesuit focus on physical education and school spirit than a machine for winning.

Start sticking around 8 wins with an occasional 10 win Matt Ryan season and you can last forever while you wait for a real dream job to open up.
