Who's the closest comp positionally in our class?

Would probably say Kennedy Lewis. I'm not ditching anyone for him necessarily b/c our takes look great as well.

Yeah, that last spot (which probably wouldn’t have been there at all if we knew we were getting McCoy) was between Anderson, Lewis, and Powell at various times. Will be interesting to see how those three turn out.

Anderson, Jaylen Ellis, and Peyton Powell were the trio of WR offers we sent out after the staff realized the whiffin' had been complete with Wilson and Higgins. It'll be interesting to see how the college careers of those three progress.

I think Higgins has very high bust potential. Never really got a warm and fuzzy that dude would work once he got to school.

We took the right guy as far as someone who would be willing to stay out of the transfer portal while getting good enough to play.

TTU with a decent 2019 acquisition today. Atlanta, Ga. 3 star DB, Dequanteous Watts, announced his signing.  Visited a couple of weeks ago.

Finalists were TT, South Carolina, and Louisville.   Pretty nice offer list with over 40 offers. Originally appeared he might not qualify (test scores), but upon doing so late, the delayed recruiting race was on.

Ealy's baseball stock has been dropping for a while now, what is most surprising is that Hampton has yet to be drafted in the first five rounds and after he wasn't drafted last night announced he will not be signing a contract and will be attending LSU.

Once he fell out of the comp round and deeper into the 2nd, odds were he wasn't going to be drafted because a team would have most likely overslotted him by then if they were going to

Yep.  After the 9th or 10th round, signing bonus slots go out the window, but it would be beyond remarkable for someone to offer Hampton the $2+million it would take to obtain his signature and forego his LSU commitment in the 11th round.

The max you can offer anybody after the 10th round is 100k without penalty, unless you have money left over from your round 1-10 pool.

Looks like Chris Steele is backing out on Oregon to enroll at USC.

I'm sure Bru and he will give that team the toughness and commitment to the cause they've been missing.

Just enough good things happening to USC to make them forget they have by far the worst coaching staff of all the major programs in college football. Until August, anyway.

Of course, adding Steele to that program might not be a good thing.

Lol.... so are they going to suspend him for taking money from boosters?  Or has everyone forgotten about that?

They'll be losing their whole coaching staff and AD after this season. I'm not sure those guys care about penalties tomorrow for players today. A little like the mess left behind at Kansas.

Pretty glad we didn’t get involved in this shit

I guess shopping Virginia, Pennsylvania, and the Carolinas isn’t creative enough. Apparently New Jersey is full of sec level talent as well.

Quite. And when they were a top 10 program, their roster was littered with Florida talent. But if he wants to go shopping in the Low Countries, more power to 'em.

Saw that warren put in a couple CB’s for two more high four stars to Mack. Wonder what fedora thinks

Fedora is probably wondering why Mack is still recruiting for the 2019 cycle.

If I knew how to make an X-ray version of this image (and blur out the UH rubies in the grill), it would be the perfect one for a Tom Herman curse. The curse image requires the coach to be grinning or preferably, smiling with his eyes.
